Remarks

Positive is there are very few branches so students are very less so we have to do so much work in our fest so all students are exploring themselves and negative is location it is outside city and there are not many negative reviews for college

Course Curriculum Overview

In sem there were three exams minor1, minor 2 and major exam minor 1and 2 consist of 20-20 marks and major is for 40-50.rest marks is for attendance and assigments and in between minor 1 and 2 lab exam also there

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is a institute of national inportance so yup fees is little bit high around we have toh pay 80k for per semester in those 80k all fees is included like our hostel and mess fees so it is feasiable it is notexpensive

Fees and Financial Aid

Yup many of student which are unable to pay fees our college bank which is bank of barode provide loans to students and that is very easy to apply for loan we have to just sign a form and rest of the work will college take care of it

We have many labs for our all subjects for extracurricular activities we have different clubs by which we organize events there is all types of sport available football cricket swimming pool so yup all ground is very fine

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is to goodwe have single rooms and there are all facilities we have 4 hostel 3 for boys and 1 for girls all four hostel have there different mess and Warden.we have tt rooms snookers and all the other facilities which is working very fine

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Super seniors and alumni network they will help us in our academic and tell us about how to placemany of our senior are in big companies like google and Microsoft so ya they help us what to do how to prepare and what to learn

Admission

We got admission through the rank in jee main there were different cut off every year for branch there are three courses Btech, ipg-mtech and ipg-mba.we have to fill college in jossa if we clear the cutoff then college will allot

Faculty

We have professor for our subject there but mainly there assistants will come to teach us in the class sometime professor and sometime mtech and phd students will take our lab and viva exam which is our lab minor exam

Course Curriculum Overview:

The IT course here offers 2 tracks or specializations, one is in "smart mobility systems engineering" and the other is "intelligent information systems engineering". The former covers cryptography and cyber security aspect and the later is a bit more AI/ML focused. The curriculum helps students understand how verious ML algos. work and why do they work.

The placement starts coming at the end of 6th sem or beginning of 7th. You can expect around 15-20 companies to visit. Recently there have been visits by carwale, quantiphi, cognizant, Cape Gemini, Infosys, Kfintech, TCS. All of them had their packages in the range 6-8 lpa. Highest packages reach around 20LPA for a handful of students as one of a good company might visit Like Intuit, Zscaler, Deustche Bank While obviously some students crack off camps and recieve even better options 60-70 percentage of students can get placed here My plans are doing Masters incase I don't get a good enough job.

Insider Placements of IIITM Gwalior

my rank in jee mains was 18600 in which i didnt get any good branch (cs it) in good nit or iiit in JOSAA. Then in CSAB 1st round i got iiit jabalpur ece and in 2nd round i got iiitm gwalior it+mba). Well equipped infrastructure and decent placements

The other colleges that I applied to were: IIIT Lucknow in which i was getting B.Tech in computer science and some private colleges. 1. I had applied to XIME Bangalore, Welingkar, and Christ College. I got selected for XIME Bangalore. 2. I choose IIITM Gwalior because it is a central government institute, proximity to my hometown and affordable program fee. 3. I got rejected from Welingkar and Christ due to low CAT score. 4. The admission process for MBA is quite straight forward. IIITM only accepts CAT score. There is no explicit mention of minimum CAT percentile. In under graduation one should have at least 60% with maths/statistics as one of the subjects. After that there will be group discuss round and interview round.
