Remarks

Damn negative- to be precise They will give you mental stress , ask you to complete unnecessary assignments which they eventually throw it away in garbage Stress you to study all the day Do no support any other hobbies or creative work No scope for development of mind Only robots or peasants which think in only one way are appreciated here. Also, you can't question the authorities or teachers about working of college or any other stuff(If you do so,they degrade your level so that they don't have to answer you)

Course Curriculum Overview

1

I genuinely feel that this curriculum is way behind its time. We feel like we are studying in 1970s in 2019. The exam structure is also based mostly on who can memorize more and more book-ish information

Placement Experience

1.5

The placements are quite low in number. Only 20-25% students had a placement from my branch. Also, only a few had a decent earning job(others were quite low). This case can be considered better as compared to other branches which sometimes ho without placement And yes, there is no stipend or such.

College Events

0.5

Coding premier league Technitude(which is now cancelled from this year) Annual small gathering (IDK where are they planning to do) NSS camps Other small small activities Nothing more or good than this

Fee Structure And Facilities

Expensive compared to the quality of facilities and education Students without any reservation can say it is expensive as compared to quality of facilities and education. Other students who pay less fees can think that this college deserves only that little fees

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is concession in fees based on caste Like for OBC it is almost 50% off For SC/ST it is almost 75% off Also for economically backward students college has a system where in students should fill the respective form and they will get half of their fees back to their bank account by the end of year

Campus Life

1

There is very little scope for extracurricular activities and other activities which include development of one's personality. Labs are the same since the college building was made-no development. In most of the computer related labs the computers aren't working while there is an issue of internet sometimes In the name of sports they have just a day and used to have a very small playground (which is now utilised for construction of another building) I would rate the sports here as 2/10

Alumni/Alumna

Speaking of alumni , I don't think they have a very great alumni. Not any international nor any celebrity A famous YouTuber used to study in this college, but he left without completing graduation because of the stress and frustration

Admission

Firstly the college gives admissions based on the marks of an national-level entrance test called 'JEE '. The second option is by appearing for a State-level entrance exam called 'CET'. I got admission through JEE. 3 lists were shown on the govt website and my marks were eligible in the 3rd list. So I went to the college on given date, submitted required documents and marksheets, paid fees through a demand draft and confirmed my seat.

Faculty

2

Most of the teaching faculty is in the range of below average to average. The head staffs carry an attitude as if they are the rulers of the state-which is quite irritating for students. The principal of college is mostly delayed for his work. Many a times he is not present. No one attends the call on official college phone number

the placement structure of this college is mainly on the tech branches. the placement varies betweem 3 to 5 lakhs on average, annually but if are choosing core branches like mechanical, civil or electrical or entc then you can expect low from it. If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.
