Remarks

Studies and academics are really pretty up to the mark but social life and personality development is zero or nil. All college focus is on the studies and attendance. No timw is given for the personality development of students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I am pursuing MBBS bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery. It is a five and a half year long course. It also constitutes internship of one year in which we get paid. Professional exams we need to pass.

Placement Experience

3.5

That is also through exam which is NEET PG. This is also an entrance test which will be required for you to get into JNMCH which is the hospital and you will get salary as that of residents like junior residents.

College Events

1

Sir syed day the most grand event of Aligarh Muslim University. Freshers party for the upcoming batches basically first year students. Farewell party for the last batch of the college. Conferences every now and then.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its a government medical college so obviously fee is feasible. It varies and totally depends on the year like its higher in first year but drastically falls in second and consecutive years. So its not at all problem.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such loan facility provided by the college as already they are known for their low fees. But scholarships are available but it have some barriers like annual income should be lower than one lakh.

Campus Life

4.5

Extracurricular activities are none literally just none. Laboratories are in really good conditions no doubt at this. Sports are biased like boys get to have more opportunities as that of girls. So this is a huge problem.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

SN and hadi hasan hall are the two girls and boys hostel. A special feature of the University is its residential character with most of the staff and students residing on the campus. AMU is truly representative of the country's multi-religious, multi-racial and multi-lingual character.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah, they are really very much Helpful like in the medical field they guide you literally the most. So is the case of our medical college. They are great help and always there for support no matter.

Admission

Through entrance exam NEET which is national entrance test for all medical Colleges private and government both. This is the only way to get in this college and same is the way i have gotten entry to it.

Faculty

4

Faculty is obviously the best. We have really great proffesors they put in their efforts a lot. Interactive also a bit. The faculty consists of 240 teachers with extra-ordinary academic achievements. Most of the senior faculty have more than 30 years of teaching experience and are invited as experts in prestigious examinations like UPSC, DNB, MCH/DM as well as postgraduate and undergraduate courses all over the country. They also serve as MCI and DNB inspectors.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
