Course Curriculum Overview

3

Medical course is very respectful and it provides great opportunities to help people and contribute to the society. The course offers exposure to the patients , the village visits etc thats how it prepares us for real world applications or further academic pursuits. According to me the academic pressure should be reduced in the course curriculum We have exams almost after every week or two. This could be in the form of practicals , vivas, subjective or objective form. Frequent exams put a little pressure on us and the exams are quiet difficult as well.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

I am an MBBS student and currently studying in jn medical college in aligarh. There will be an internship program of one year at the end of 4.5 years of course which will have a payment scale of 25000 to 30000 inr. There is also an externship programme through which they provide opportunitie to pursue different courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

Detailed fee structure 1. In 1st year at the time of admission the college and other fees was around 50k 2. Yearly hostel fees is around 20k. 3. After 1st year upto the completion of course the yearly continuation fees is only around 9k. 4. The fees may slightly increased but since it is a government college therefore the fees is very affordable . Scholarship There are also several scholarship programs offered by the amu University for its students who have poor financial status.

Campus Life

4

Overall our college campus is very beautiful but we are not allowed to go out of our hostels during night because of safety purposes. I think it is one of the safest campus for girls . There are students of other courses in our hostel and we have a very good interaction with them . There are various clubs in our college like the sports club , the drama club etc which are open for all University students and anyone who is interested can easily join these clubs . The infrastructure facilities are very beautiful with greenery around.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Each student is provided a room with 2-3 roommates. Therefore there are 2-4 girls in a single room in our hostel . We are allowed to keep our inductions fridge etc in our rooms at our own expenses . The rent is also very affordable which is around 1500 per month. Overall the hostel experience is great.

Admission

Jnmc is central university and there is 50 percent internal pg reservation therefore I choose this college . The education quality of this college and the opportunities and exposure is good but the extra curricular activities are less emphasised as compared to other colleges. I could not make it to medical colleges in Delhi because my rank was not good enough to get selected in one of them , I should have studied more in order to get a better rank in NEET exam. The admission process was quiet simple after counselling we just have to report to the concerned college and get our documents verified and fill the other formalities and all like the fees , hostel allotment etc. The other college I applied to is AIIMS Delhi

Faculty

4

Faculty insight. 1. The faculty is very supportive and helpful 2. Don't know about the exact student to faculty ratio but whenever we need any help the faculty is always there for us . I personally like the anatomy faculty of our college as they were very helpful and supportive. In MBBS during 1st year we have 3 terminal exams and one main final professional exams along with several sessional exams for individual subjects. Practical and vivas were also conducted during terminals and proff . The course curriculum is very much relevant

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are clinics which give us experience of real world and opportunities to apply knowledge. Using newer technology could be beneficial. Final exams once a year and pre finals before that and 1-2 term exams each year along with practical and vivas Moderately tough and as the year passed it gets tougher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I was in 2nd class then on report card I have to write which is your aim in future or what you want to become in future . Then there I I choose that I want to become a doctor and from then I I have dream that I become eligible doctor . Second doctor is very noble profession and it is my honour that I am serving the people and save the lives of the people . This profession teaches me a lot like how to cope with the situations and how to react very quickly in every situation . It help us to improve our skills and also our mental health and makes a strong mentally and emotionally .. I should suggest that there is a improvement in online lectures also provided for the MBBS course because there is little bit difficulty in the college to go there and study there because some scarcity of faculties in the college so qualitative education is not provided as it should be provided. The MBBS course offers four exams which are little bit hard to clear and there is little difficulty in clearing the exam. The timing of the exam is from 9:00 a.m. to 12 p.m.. The terminal occurs at the gap of 3 months while the pre professional exam and the professional exam occur at the gap of 1 month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It was my dream destination career wise to choose MBBS . MBBS connects you to life and death the two most important aspects of being a human on this planet . Having a power to cure someone and make people smile and live again with health is something else. As in our India the population to doctor ratio is very less hence it's important for the young generation to understand and evaluate the decision of serving the country this way. MBBS is dream for many but reality for very few students all over the country. But the people reaching here face toxic culture also , as prestigious it is as disturbing sometimes it becomes , people over here do not understand the mental health of others So this aspect should be taken in to care and medicos should be handled with care by the society, government and also the seniors . The exams are big rat race , but it's really satisfying as a reader as you get to study and read a lot about medicine . So choose MBBS but not toxicity make your mind that you ll make it beautiful for yourself and also for your batchmates and juniors as well .
