Course Curriculum Overview

4

NMC really degraded curriculum on national level because of cbme( competency based medical education) and now NMC tookit down after all batches suffered because of it for 5 years, but teachers did their best to teach us.

Internships Opportunities

5

Intership in all speciality and super speciality (like neurosurgery, Cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery, etc.) and emergency postings. Stipend amount -26,300/- monthly for interns.

5

Almost all students of MBBS got selected for pg courses on first or second attempt due to internal quota.so ,very good selection to higher studies . Good pay grade in pg - 1,10,000- 1,20,000 monthly for JR and 1,35,000 plus for SR. Good package after pg 18,00,000- 24,00,000 yearly easily Selection to MCh or DM ( 2 - cardiology, 2- neurosurgery, 4- plastic surgery)

Campus Life

5

Programs from college are few like annual fest-PLEXUS and hygienicia or fresher like WAHUJ are fewpp but exciting and wonderful. Other than this few places to hangout in Aligarh ( a very less developed city)

Hostel Facilities

4

2 beds per room in hostel till 3rd year then single seater room in final year Good quality food in hadi Hasan hall mess at low prices (hostel charges -2000 yearly for room and 1800 monthly for food) But rooms are small except in pg wing

Admission

I got AIIMS air 617 ( obc-112) in 2019and could have gotten KGMU Lucknow all AIIMS except Delhi BUT I still choose jnmc amu Aligarh because - 1- I was a internal hindu student from class 9 th 2- pg internal quota 110 MS / MD Seats reservation for internal students 3- no caste based reservation in internal quota 4- central pay scale same as AIIMS

Faculty

5

Got faculty to students ratio. Very helpful teachers and seniors Strict teachers sometimes but no excessive toxicity No castism or religious bias even after being a minority institute Studious environment.

Night Life

4

Ok Good gym in girls hostel -begum azizun nisa(BAN) hostel University is beautiful to hangout But no nearby good places in Aligarh to hangout at night University riding club(horse riding) And games committee for swimming and games

Course Curriculum Overview:

The profession I'm in is medical. The toughest of all. As from the starting I wished to be a doctor. The one who is second to a God. The one who is respected the most. The one who does the most prestigious job. As per the curriculum we have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years plus we have to attend the clinical posting in hospital , which exposes us to real world. The posting time is the time given to students from second year till year last. Improvement can be done in passing the exam part which is 50% in each subject. It can be 40 % marks. Currently I've given my MBBS second year which was hectic because of the vast syllabus. We have total of 5.5 year course for an undergraduate degree. Out of which 4.5 years is about studies rest one year is internship in hospital. We have to study all 19 subjects in just 4.5 years. The mbbs course is very lengthy. Each and every subject is very vast. So we have to study maximum time. So all the very best those who aspire to be a great doctor
