I took the college's own entrance exam and went for account any because i had a genuine liking for it from my intermediate or higher secondary days.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is super interesting as there has been presence of semester based system and students are evaluated constantly by highly experienced faculty constantly unlike other colleges in the city.
Internships Opportunities
I appeared for internship programmes from Infosys BPO, L&T & Donear Industries Pvt. Ltd. The experience was worthwhile as i came to know a lot about the outside world and how precisely things work in MNCs like the above mentioned companies. They were offering pay packages from anywhere around a good 1.5 lakhs to 3.5 lakhs per annum.
Placement Experience
As i have mentioned earlier, there were limited number of companies that offered placements in my batch. But as far as i know, around 30-40 students from my batch were placed successfully by above mentioned companies.
College Events
This section is the one to watch out for. The annual college fest Xavier utsav is a huge hit among the youth and apart from that several other college fests organized by respective departments are worthy as well with students competing in various events and competitions wholeheartedly to showcase their talent.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure was quite flexible as compared to amount of facilities given by the college to the students. A 3-year B.COM degree costed me around one lakh rupees in total. Though the fees for vocational courses is much higher.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for meritorious students especially for minorities who tend to make amends with their career and are highly talented.
Campus Life
Campus life is super cool as students are very jovial and friendly and one who becomes a part of this college cherishes it to the fullest. Gender ratio is equivalent and students belonging from different communities gel very well together. Extracurriculars are held frequently and an Annual Sports Meet is also held accompanied by Cricket, Football & Hockey Tournaments from time to time.
Exam Structure
Exam structure was semester based system and if you are a good student, you can work your way out quite easily with the mid-semester and semester exams occurring once each in every 6 months for a period of 3-years incase of my course.
