Remarks

Negative- more of politics infact among faculties also. The admistrative staff's behaviour was very shamful and all were rude everytime with every student. Positive-better than other state universities. Has good laboratories, well equiped library, affordable canteen, and more over very good faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course should be more intense and should cover more topics so as to be more able to cover the competative exam syllabus. Well the exam structure in my masters exam was a 10 marks multiple choice questions followed by 60 marks questions , making a total of 70 marks for final exams. And the rest 30 marks was considered from internal exams.

Placement Experience

2.5

No. They do not provide. And infact no placement is being made. Might be the industries are also not interested to take basic science students. This is a disadvantage of this university also that after completing the degree you do get placed.

College Events

2.5

Well i am not very much aware about the events as i was only involved in my study rather than any event. But yes if i remember correctly, among several events PARAMARSH was one. The events were mostly i mean 99% for engineers only. Basic science students were not allpwed to take part in activities like machine making and learning.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes it is feasible and you may find the fee structure online on its site which is based on semester system. Girls have concession in fees as gujarat always stands for girls education. And so girls education is also supported with a nominal fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

I did not avail any such scholarships as i wasn't having much knowledge of scholarships at that time. But yes Inspire fellowships/scholarships is an option if from 12th standard you get first position. Well it applied for graduation and post graduation also if the candidate has secured first rank.

Campus Life

4

Physics laboratory was very good. I am more concerned with change in more practicals as it only opens mind to think beyond. Actually it brings better understanding and gathers ideas and brings questionaries also.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

No I did not opted as it was not good. The drinking water faculty was very bad. I remember when i entered the hostel for primary inquiry and asked to just have a look at the hostel before paying hostel fees. I was taken a back, as there were large algae formation near the drinking water taps. No filter water facility was available even on chargeable basis. There were small hostel rooms and was very much conjusted for four girls to stay, the capacity of the room was only to occupy two and four were filled. It was horrible.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes everyone is very helpful. Right now i am not an alumni just a pass out student. But looking forward to become an alumni. Get actively participated and meet other alumns also who are at high positions to get understand better.

Admission

First a candidate is required to fill a form online for the entrance exam. Thereafter on the scheduled date, an entrace exam for the particular subject is conducted. Then list of selected students will be displayed as per the scheduled date and finally documents submission.

Faculty

4.5

All the faculties were very very good and having a good knowledge of the subject. All are good in their respective fields. I remember my masters project guide Dr. Narendrasinh Chavda, he has cleared NET exam twice when he was pursuing his studies, infact at that time there were no multiple choice questions and candidate has to solve questions. He is very much actively involved in research and has a very knowledge.

One of my batchmates got an INR 48 LPA package at the Tech company Accenture Japan. And the average Package is an INR 17 LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The things that influenced me include clinical work, which is interesting to me. The curriculum does not prepare you for real-world applications; you need hands-on & clinical practice Teaching methods are already good. For curriculum, more emphasis on real-time clinical exposure is necessary Frequency was one in 3-4 months. Difficulty level can be 7 out of 10

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is excellent in every way! The course, which I did was of Life Sciences, and it's curriculum was absolutely wonderful! The syllabus had been designed such that it perfectly aligned with the syllabus of various exams, such as CSIR, GATE etc. And also, for the end semester dissertation, our university allowed us to pursue it from any other institute or university if we wish to, and encouraged us to do so. And because of that I did my dissertation research from SLS, JNU, in cancer biology.

This is year 2021 when we have probably 1000% more jobs in IT than 10 years ago. It is much easier to get in Tier-1 companies. The answer was still a BIG no back in 2010 when two of my closest friends did not get placed in college placement and it did turn out into their favor as they cracked even better companies than the ones at college. Math is simple only if you wish to do it: Assume that you will work your entire life until you retire. Let’s take the most pessimistic scenario of an average employee’s life. Total span of employment: 30 [no one remains unemployed for many years if they really want a job] Years
