DBATU Engineering

As per academics, college is very good. But, not much chances for placements as it is located in remote area. But, coordination of the various activities is very helpful in management position. Overall, good college for Mechanical Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering course in DBATU is very good according to the faculties, lab equipments available, overall student feedback. Exam structure consists of one unit test of 20 marks + internal evaluation 10 marks + Assignment 10 marks + Semester exam 60 marks per subject.

Placements is the one section in which Mechanical Engineering Department of DBATU lacks. 15-20% placement. Salary is also not enough as per expectations. If one is looking for Masters, then no worries. College doesn't provide internship, but permits industrial training through letter of recommendation.

Some of the events celebrated in college are Cynosure(like Techfest), Annual Gathering, Shivjayanti, Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti, Ted talks. Cynosure is one the biggest technical events in college consisting of many technical and fun activities.

Fee structure is not expensive as this is a government college. For unreserved category students, fee per year of graduation is around 60000-70000. It varies yearly. As per the engineering colleges, it is very feasible fee structure.

I haven't offered any scholarship or loans. But some of the scholarship students get are for reserved category students and economically backward class students. Also as per merit there are number of scholarships that you can apply for.

Labs are the focus of the education here. Although lack in equipments, they provide all the education from available equipments. Also, college has a playing ground (one ground for all sports). Many sports league are played department-wise.

Yes, yearly alumni meets are being held in the college to create a strong network between students and the alumni. These events are held by students and facilities coordinated. So, alumni and students get in direct contact.

Based on 12th amd JEE Composite Percentile Score. Now it is based on only MHT-CET Score. Admission process is through DTE CAP rounds. Admission process starts in the month of june. College starts in the month of August.

Most faculties of the Mechanical Engineering Department of DBATU are Ph.D holders. Their teaching and commitment to teaching is very admirable. Other than academics, some of the clubs in Mechanical engineering such as SAE, ISHRAE are leaded by faculties.
