Remarks

I have some positive comments aur some negative comments Positive comments.- here all teachers are good for teaching our subjects. Negative comments - some senior tease evry time and ragged us. But all over college is pretty good.

Course Curriculum Overview

All courses are available here but some course are mainly famous from this college like chemical engineering,food technology, computer science. Etc and all semester exam are mainly taken in college but question are not from all questions set are came from university.

Placement Experience

No this college not providing internship but campusing is very good. All companies like Infosys wipro Hitachi nestle and many private companies are came here for placement. And one more thing that most important this college is good in nirf ranking.

College Events

Many events are celebrating heree. Like cultural meet that organised by our college senior. This cultural meet organise in November and one the very enjoyable thing RIVERIA in this event, a Bollywood actor or singer come here. I think that we celebrate this occasion very much and enjoy the rest of the night.

Fee Structure And Facilities

This college hostel is very good not at all hostel but some hotel are too good from nit and iit. This is the only college in West Bengal that is lowest fee from all another college. All students can afford this fees. And this college was mini government so this college fees was down from other colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any lone but all state board lones passed for studies. And also teachers gives information about that how you get loan for studies. All faculty have its on loan provider. In this college a cabin is available for information about it.

Campus Life

All extracurricular like plantings sports and fest all are average not at all good but average. Every year sports are organised. Labs are pretty good. This all has its own workshop and all labs are too much big.

Alumni/Alumna

This college is under wbjee means West Bengal joint internce test. This is the only college in West Bengal that is lowest fee from all another college. All students can afford this fees. And this college was mini government so this college fees was down and this college senior are good.

Admission

I passed my 12th on April 2019 and I give jee mains exam for a good college or government college but I didn't get any government college. Then my some freinds say about this college then I took admission hear.

Faculty

All faculty are good but food technology is one of the best faculty here. I means food technology faculty hod is very possessive about his students mainly he talk to them about problems and many more things.

Campus life: Hype vs Truth

Placement Experience:

I heard it from seniors that before lockdown it was pretty decent but after lockdown the company visits are not that much comapred to before lockdown.Cognizent, Accenture, Mindtree, PQ360 which is a startup company of our senior alumni etc. visits.

Placement Experience:

Well as far as mh knowledge students get to placements from 6th semester itself . Well there are placement classes from 3rd semester itself . The placement track record of the college is quite good with most year about 90% gets placed with good companies comming like Deloitte, EY GDS , JP MORGAN, Oracle , offering high amount of placement offers like around 20+ lpa . Well I am not sure about my plans maybe if the palacement is good I'll take it or will be preparing for GATE (Whose courses are also provided from college .)

The life in HITK

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in cse, it ,ece and sometimes elec branches. The others dpt also offers a quite unique variety of placements from different companies. Nearly 60 percent of the students have been placed in this year and others are still on board for a positive response.

A Deep Dive into JGEC

Placement Experience:

From 4th year the students become eligible for on campus placements. Few companies that visited are BEL which offered 12lpa , wtw which also offered 12lpa , TCS which offered 9 lpa highest, and many more . Highest package offered this year was 54lpa by Microsoft (off campus) . On campus highest was BEL which offered 12 lpa , the average package is around 8 lpa . My plan is to prepare myself for government exams and get a job by the end of my 4th year .

the cirricullum is quite relevent and comprehensive . BTECH program especially CSE includes specializations like data sciene , cybersecurity, IOT, etc . Exams are held twice in a semester . the college could include hand on learning through workshop , industry project and interships .

HIT HALDIA - AT A GLANCE

Okay, I've applied for 2-3 colleges(IEM Kolkata, Heritage Institute of Technology kolkata, Techno India Main Saltlake) alongwith HIT Haldia. But I choose this college because of mainly two reasons- 1)This is near my hometown. 6-7 km away from my house 2)My some school seniors are also studied here so they said me to take admission here Yes I've got rejection from many colleges also because my WBJEE and JEE main ranks are not so good. But I was selected to take admission i some colleges also but I didn't make that because of expensive fee structure and poor placements. Admission process of my college is not that much complicated for Regular admission like through WBJEE and JEE Mains. Main reason to choose this college is campus.
