I gave VITEEE Exam in 2011. I got 2561 rank in that exam. Since VIT was the best private institute in India according to the "India today " survey I joined it for B.Tech Electronics and communications.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum was up to date and according to the industry demand which is reflected in the placements every year. The teachers were well qualified mostly PhD and they have very depth knowledge in the subjects they taught us. The teaching was done partly on the white board partly via slides and rest of the time by experiments which helped me to understand the subject.
Internships Opportunities
I did my internship in Doordarshan Jaipur and BSNL Jaipur. There was no stipend for the training. And no company came for the internship in college. I had to search it by myself only.
Placement Experience
In VIT on campus placements are one of the best in the country. It has a almost 100 % placement record. Both core and non-tech companies come to the college from the start of the 7th semester till the end of the final semester and even after that as well. I was selected in Ericsson company.
Fees and Financial Aid
No I dont know anything about the loans. Also I didnt get any scolarship in VIT.
Campus Life
The gender ration was really bad for ECE, EEE and Mechanical. But it was good for Biotechnology. Campus life was really good since VIT have very big and green campus. We used to have lot of parties almost once a week. Almost once in a month college used to organize the competitions like Robo Race, Robo fight, sport events, technical and nontech quizes.
Alumni/Alumna
Vit has a vast Alumni Network. But since after passing out from the college I got really busy with my work and was preparing for the competition exams I didnt meet any senior after. But I was in touch with my class mates and I still am via phone and facebook.
