Remarks

I did a one year LLM post graduation course in Human Rights from the Noida campus. I am an admirer of law and always wanted to use my understanding of law for the benefit of humanity and people. My overall experience with Amity was awesome. The management will constantly push you towards doing something new and help you with the projects.

Entrance Preview

The entrance process consists of an English Language Test, Subject Based Written Test, and Personal Interview. Both the written tests were pretty basic and I gave the interview via skype. It was fun.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure for my Human Rights course was quite thorough. I always wanted to learn the legal procedure for protecting human rights. The first semester consists of all the basic terminology and methodology in Indian and international context. The second semester was much more specialization oriented, including human rights study based on race, gender, religion, minorities, etc

Fee Structure And Facilities

One year LL.M. course fee was 120,000 INR, which was a one time payment. It’s pretty basic in comparison to other private institutes.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life of Amity University will leave a mark on you. There is always something happening. We had moot courts and many debate session, which helped us build confidence and have a near to practical experience, right there in the campus. We got to interact with students from different departments and colleges. I made a lot of friends.

Admission

I opted for the Noida campus, because it is the oldest amity campus, and it has one of the best faculties of law, in private institutes. The other options which I had was in Pune, which would have been quite far from my hometown. The admission process was quite smooth as well. I got assistance from the Amity Student Center in my hometown, only.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty members were qualified, and had a keen interest in dissemination of information. Many of my faculty members were also involved with many human and civil rights cases and they also helped us with our projects.
