Yes this college has potential but due to this internal politics it's only damaging students life but still i would say it's good collge if you go with aerospace engineering as it is the only college after IIT Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh to have aerosapce eng

As FGIET my college is a state level engineering college situated in uttar pradesh raebareli so i have to clear UPSEE entrance exam where i scored a rank of 6018 now reasons to go with this college is it's reputation and nominal fees as compared to other colleges in state it has a nominal fees of 58000 for each year.

My college has 4 engineering courses i.e mechanical engineering computer science end engineering electronics and communication engineering and aeronautical engineering apart from that there is also MCA master of computer application now the whole curriculum follows UPTU university norms of 8 semesters regarding faculty i would rate it as average only despite the fact that some of the faculties are really good but some are really terrible but still overall it's a average looking faculties of some NITians and few IITians.

Now FGIET doesn't generally have a seperate internship arrangement portal or department but still they can help to find some good internships as in my case i was being a part of TCS tata Consultancy Services for 45 days whose interview has been set up by college as far as stipend is concerned there is no general policy It totally depends on the company or organization you are being a part as internship .

Yes there are few big names associated with my college but still the situation of placements are pathetic most of the students who got placements are from off campus only.But still there are some companies who visit FGIET not every year but occasionally like infosys wipro,HCL,IDEA etc but still i would say the placement cell here is not good that is the only bad thing about this college which makes it 42 college in UPTU top college list now this year(2015 batch) around 70 students were placed out of which 80% are due to off campus only with a package around 3 LPA.

Two major festival celebrated at FGIET is Kalpvaig sports Festival and anusandhan annual Day. In kalpvaig we have different sports event ranging from indoor, outdoor and even online events like treasure hunt etc anusandhan the annual fest is celebrated at a huge level with full enthusiasm but as compared to anusandhan there is not much focus on kalpvaig usually not many colleges participate in our sports fest In previous year only 5 colleges were there so there is not much participation but still a nice event to watch.

It's a big advantage for the college as fees here is very nominal around 58000 for a year which is quite cheap as compared to other colleges in the region where fees are beyond 1 lakhs 1 Year : 650002 Year : 650003 Year : 580004 Year : 58000 apart from that the hostel fees is around 35000 for a year but facilities at hostel are tremendous and worth taking.

There is samaj kalyan scholorship for the students whose parents income are less than 200000 per Annum.These students will get back there entire fees in there account so around 65000 are credited to each of the students like this every year but it requires you to submit income certificate and other documents.

There is merely campus life in college as it's a school full of rules with nobody to follow them there are many extracurricular activities like debate, sports day and coding challenges are there.There is immense focus on robotics as there is robotics club in college naming ROBOYANTRA and we also have CSE branch annual magazine ALGOSAPIENS. But on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give these events 8 as they are good but needs improvements.

The first year hostel is dream place as it is very spacious and nice place the roms are four shared basis but the only problem is the food there but the still it's worth giving a try. The hostel can accomodate around 250 students at a time now as far as P

Yes FGIET possess a alumni network whose alumni portal is ther on college .

We have 8 semesters in which each semester we have both internal and external practical labs the labs were mostly chilled out and we never really get to know anything but still there were few exceptions like the workshops in my college were really good to
