Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is generally aligned with industry needs and current trends, it covers the fundamental subjects relevant to chose and discipline. The curriculum offers a range of electives to allow students to explore interest and specialization.
Placement Experience
FGIET has decent placement record not all student get olaced through campus placement. Companies like WIPRO, MICROSOFT, ACCENTURE, AIRBUS, ANCHOR, AON, MAHINDRA, BYJUS and many more visited here for campus placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee around 90000 to 100000 per annum (based on program). Hostel fee is around 50000 per annum. Government scholarship is available for all the students belongs to SC/ST & OBC. Education loan is also available from partner banks with easy repayment option. Campus employment opportunities are limited.
Campus Life
Friendly and approachable teacher who encourage student to excel. Modern classroom & labs tha facilitates learning carious extra curricular activities that cater to different interests. The campus size is very limited compared to other institutions. Fewer options for sports and recreational activities.
Hostel Facilities
Seperate hostel has been provided for boys and girls with adequate security measures. Hostel capacity is around 150 to 200 students. Shared room is provided to students with basic furniture, bedding and storage. Wifi connectivity and 24/7 power backup.
Admission
Admission process is very easy. Students can appear for entrance exams( like JEE/CUET). Direct admission at vacant seats is also available under some eligibility criteria (minimum 45% in intermediate).
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio at FGIET is around 1:15 to 1:20. With a relatively small class size faculty members can provide individual attention to students. Around 30-40% of the faculty members hold a Ph.D. degree in their respective fields. Mostly 50-60% of the faculty members hold a master's degree. And 10-20% of faculty members hold a bachelor's degree. Teachers are generally available during regular class hour & students can interact with them after classes or during office hours, most teachers are considered approachable and willing to help students with their queries and doubts.
Interview Experience
For admission a written test or entrance exam such as jee uptu has been conducted, depending on the program. The process for admission in fgiet is very simple, students can take admission through UPTAC councelling and also through direct admission at vacant seats
