Remarks

It's is good, government aided but not autonomous it is in gondwana University now but in some day it's may be autonomous. Because now more features are coming in college and gives better image to college and improve college through internally.

Course Curriculum Overview

By my opinion Engineering is best for ever because it's not only course it's the starting of one well known scientist for world. MHTCET exam structure is divided in 3 parts for PCM students 1st physics, 2nd chemistry and 3rd mathematics. For PCB students is also in 3 part 1st physics, 2nd chemistry and 3rd biology. And for PCMB is in 4 parts 1st physics, 2nd chemistry, 3rd mathematics and 4th biology. for Engineering students PCM or PCMB stream is applicable.

Placement Experience

There is college not provide internship but placement is good but not better. There is one good news for students Tata technology gives there multispecial lab to students in college this program is CIIIT.

College Events

College is in Maharashtra so there is attending lot of function like audit course and running, kho kho, cricket, volleyball, basketball and lots of games. Some day ago in our callege one program is attended that is MOTIVATION by the well known pharmacist DAJI

Fee Structure And Facilities

No there is fees structure is very low not expensive. for open category it is only 25,000 rupees, for SEBC and OBC category it is 6,751 rupees. for SC, ST category it is 2,000 rupees only. So in compair to other engineering colleges it's fees structure is very low.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes there is lot of scholarship post matric scholarship, Dr. Panjabrao deshmukh vastigrah nirvah bhtta yojna, or so many by this scholarship student who lives from other city but for education goes to chandrapur they got there all rent of house by government.

Campus Life

Lab of college is goods but not better there is need Making good but book library of college is good and there is less computer lab. And one more thing now some days ago there is got package for making digital library for us. And this work is in progress.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes alumni are helpful they always motivated us when we have need. Some days ago there is one boy from electrical engineering branch who got a well known company of Canada and PACKAGE of 8,000 canda dollars means about 4.5 lakhs of Indian rupees.

Admission

After 12th completed I give entrance exam MHTCET I got 88.49 percentile and I selected for these college through cap Kota in 1st cap round in computer science and engineering branch in 12th I got 86.80 percentage

Faculty

Faculty is good they solve all problems of students and also live like friends with us but there is not all permanent staff there is temporary staff also so changes of teachers in every year is painfull because of adjustment.

Likes

The campus of the college is vast with a natural environment
Many facilities like library, sophisticated labs, and classrooms are provided by the college
The Teachers cover each and every point of the syllabus and guide the students.

Dislikes

The syllabus is a little bit outdated, that is some points in the syllabus may seems boring and not applicable in the real world.
The Teachers should use the right techniques for teaching which makes the students more engaging in the class.
The menu of the canteen must contain some health option in a budget friendly way.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Campus is huge and there is to much space for walk and greenari
Affordable price in cantin same we eat outside.
Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

I loved the library and canteen of the college
College community is quite good no ragging is done
Faculties are strict but at the same time they are supportive as well

Dislikes

Small Campus not very interesting can be done on that place
Curriculum is as same as tier 3 colleges not very interesting and does not match to those of other colleges like VJTI
Placement cell is not very active they don't provide internship

Placement Experience:

After 4th year students are eligible for campus placement. Capgemini, wipro, accenture are the top companies visited here and the highest package offered was 30lpa. As of now the placement percentage is 80% and rest go for off campus. And even I'll try to go for Off campus

Likes

The professors at the college were always available for any doubt clearances or any other help
College also offered courses free of cost of latest technologies
The college supported students in taking part in any paper conference or hackathon

Dislikes

Conduction of technical events was comparatively less
The was alumni connection was not available through college
The infrastructure could be improved more

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the fourth year. There are good number of placement opportunities available through college but the placement package is less compared to other colleges. The placement cordinator is helpful.

I like my college building,classes,labs.
Canteen is good.it provides good quality food.
Library is best. Very nice management and staff

Dislikes

Canteen is good but they must increase their staff.
Class should be sound proof.noice from outside disturbs.
Stationary staff should be increased and price should be decreased.

Placement Experience:

From sem 7 students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Accenture,Wipro, Microsoft, HyperVerge have visited college. In 2020 highest package was 30 lac per annum by Amazon. Last year only 40% students got the placement. I am planning for competitive exams after degree.

Some departments here were really great like ETC and Mechanical with a unique culture going on
AIML and AIDS being new branches here are still doing their job very well for the students

Dislikes

The Students section not really tends to help ,as i saw many financially weak students facing the problem of 1 time payment fees and their request for part payments option is always rejected
Infrastructure is decent but in summer season the water coolers are just useless there ,no cooler will give you cold water

Some courses were to the point like IOT was well designed and DSA too with java programming side by side ,still as i said AIML is new branch and needs much enhancements ,the areas where they can improve was always practicals and labs those were always taken casual as i remember

Dkte is best for practical knowledge because of its pilot plants which are having machineries with good working conditions
Highly skilled faculties with excellent experience of industrial as well as teaching sector
There are many facilities like idea lab and other testing labs are available which helps students in there project related and research related work

Dislikes

College timing is more as compared to other Colleges
Extra curricular activities and annual events are not upto the marks as compared to other colleges
Canteen facilities for breakfast, lunch, dinner are not that good

Placement Experience:

Students are getting eligible in 6 semester for campus placement Companies like Trident , Arvind Ltd, epic group ,uniclo, vardhaman textile ,dyester ,Aditya Birla knits, Aditya Birla fashion retail, reliance, OCM ,donear etc are visiting and offering jobs ranging from 3.5 lakhs to 18 lakhs per annum Highest salary job is given by companies like Trident and epic group the salary is ranging between 18 -19 lakhs 100 % of students are getting placed every year

I applied to a few other engineering colleges through the CAP round such as Government College of engineering ,Nagpur and priyadarshani College of engineering ,Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering our I got confirm admission to my current college based on my CAP on allotment in second CAP round . In first CAP round I get the Tulsiram Gaikwad Patil College of engineering. Iwanted to get addmission in that college because the college is good and near from my home city, but when the first CAP result is out I contacted to the college for the addmission but they said that the college fees is 60000 that's why I go to the next CAP round.and I get this college. To get admission, we have to give entrance exam MHTCET, The necessary Cutoff for General Category is nearly 86%ile .And for other categories it is bit less. The application of MHTCET exam are announced by Maharashtra Cell and you can check the dates when they provide by visiting their website. Timing of exams and everything is good ,I don't think it need any changes. To take admission in this college, you must have completed 12th or diploma. If you have completed 12th then you have to give an entrance exam called CET (common entrance test).
