Always positive. This is my life's greatest achievement to be in such a highly reputed college. also here we are allowed to study any course of any department yeah you heard it right so if you are a mechanical engineering student and wish to take classes in computer science then yes you are allowed.

The course curriculum is awesome. In the first semester, you have to complete 34 credits (5 courses plus 1 lab) In the second semester, you have to do (5 courses plus 1 seminar and 1 communications skills course) In the third semester, you have to do only one course (which is not of your department) In fourth, no coursework needs to be done. Overall it is an awesome experience in IITB. Exams are awesome as if you are aware in class them most of the questions can be solved (around 60 %) and the rest is done by taking previous year's papers.

In India, Everyone knows IITB Is the topmost priority of all the students in terms of PLACEMENTS, RESEARCH, AND LIFE AT CAMPUS. The average Placement package this year was around 16.5 lakhs and over 90% of the students got placed and the rest of them had gone to pursue higher studies at universities like MIT, Cambridge, etc. Every Gate qualified student gets an MHRD Stipend of 12400 rupees (M.tech).

Many world-famous events kike MOOD INDIGO TECHFEST PGCULT etc are celebrated here. Many workshops are conducted here also in which many celebrities come and also there are always events which raise a particular motive like protecting the environment.

It is feasible as we get a stipend so we can always manage to pay fees and enjoy also. Moreover, in the first semester you have to pay around 57000 rupees and at the end of the first semester you will get mess refund of around 15000 and the total amount of stipend would have been around 75000 so next sem onwards you can easily pay fees.

SBI AND CANARA BANK offer loans at the time of admission and after too. Also, there are a ton of other scholarships offered from time to time and There is also FFE (FOUNDATION FOR EXCELLENCE) who pay all the fees (THIS IS AN IITB ALUMNI ASSOCIATION).

Best in the country. Labs highly tech-savvy and have all the latest equipment if you are interested in research and sports facilities are world-class, we have our unique Olympic size swimming pool and also indoor stadiums for all games

Hostels here at IITB are world-class and many of them are newly built too with good ambiance and proper ventilation. My room has awesome ventilation and lake side view with windows curtains and remote sensor controlled fan also I would rate 9 out of 10.

The Alumni network is superb. at the start of the semester, every student is allowed a mentor who is doing the job for the last 5 years minimum so that they can interact with them too and Many alumni come for placements too and provide guidance from time to time by visiting IITB.

For Getting Into IITB (To do Post graduation), you have to give the GATE exam conducted in February every year and whose results are declared in March. After that Fill the form of IITB from their official website and also register on COAP (seats are offered on the COAP portal only, to avoid wastage of seats). Then if you are shortlisted in any of the rounds of COAP then you can confirm your seat by accepting and freezing. Otherwise, If you did not get anything in COAP then wait for spot rounds in July and go to the respective college to get on-the-spot admission if there is a vacancy.

The faculties here are world-class. Most of them are from Cambridge and MIT. they are very helpful and solve all your doubts instantly and have excellent concept skills. If you approach them anytime they are helpful.
