Review your college

The average infrastructure is good. Maintenance is also very good. Security system is too good. Teaching of the faculty is also good. But the architecture building which need to more creative design is it self a dabba structure. And the fees here is too high.

I like architecture so i have decided to join: It is a 5 year course with 10 semester, It is a professional course, We have 8 subject every semester, Finall year is complete of thesis and Internship.

We cannot say about it directly. it depends on the individual and the amount of effort u put on your design and how creative you are, you should have your own style something extraordinary. Definitely college will guide for internship

Mostly there are several fests celebrated in our college like kalKrithi fest,tech fest,law fest, gussac carnival, pharmacy fest. Every bolck do their own fest but architecture don't host any fest due to less in number. Apart from it one sports meet is conducted every year.

Fee structure is too expensive for architecture students of our batch it is 2.6lakh per year and for several other branches they have Different fee structure. The fee structure is already too expensive and they increase it every year for New batch.

Our college does not provide any scholarship that is thing i don't like about this College. Its support education loan I have took education loan from my home town. Yearly we have to pay for it. Delay in the payment cause extra fine.

There several clubs.kalakriti is the main cultural club of gitam. Peaople who are really interested in dance, music, creative arts,faces, anchoring can give audition and if they are good enough they are selected for the club and allowed to perform on the fests.

I haven't opted for the college hostel. But its very costly first year. They take 60k deposit out of which only 10-20k is refunded back later. Apart from that monthly bill is arround 10k and there is no AC.

Our seniors are really helpfull they are always available when we go for a doubt to them. There several events amd workshops like nasa where senior junior work together and even we do work and learn something from our junior.

The admission can be done either through NATA or JEE main marks. Through jee main paper 2 marks, My mark was more than the cut off mark. My jee main paper 3 mark was 147 and rank was arround 33k. So I was able to qualify the criteria.

Our most of the faculties are very friendly in nature. The guide us better in design and always makes us better. One think i didn't like the system of assignment and compulsory attendance for the students.
