Remarks
Positive for mech is good labs and faculty negative is bad placements. And reverse for cs students. Faculty is not up to the mark because cs faulty are still learning where as for mechanical they came here not to train students but to get their research done.
Course Curriculum Overview
For our batch the course cirriculum is not at all good but for coming students there is a lot of improvement, but not sure till what time it will last. Exam structure is mid of 20% end sem of 40% and other 40% is internals I.e given based on projects, assignments, quizzes, Viva or class participation etc:
Placement Experience
Placements for mech, ece and civil are worst but for cs it is very good highest package is 25 lks which is a very good for a new college, but for mechanical it is very horrible highest package is 7 lakhs and only one company is giving that the other highest package is 3lks Which is not good at all. Other students are made to sit in some of the cs companies naming them as non-tech and telling that they have brought the companies but we didn't got placed due to our illiteracy.
College Events
Fresher's got talent- celebrated when new students come to college. A five day orientation program for fresher's Extravaganza- conducted during october, as a entertainment program Every month there will be a DJ conducted. And several events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It is too expensive for fresher's. They are increasing the fees structure every year to get profits as college is running in losses. There is separate fees for hostel, mess and laundry, medical and also we have to pay the current bills. For fresher's turion fees is around 3 lks and hostel basic is 80000 and highest is 1,40,000 and food and laundry 60000 which is too high. Not at all worthy
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are given based on mains rank and marks and also on inter marks. Scholarships are good but are removed if not maintained 7cgpa, every semester you have to maintain 7cgpa and attendance of 80% and no DAC points. If any of them is gone you have to loose your scholarships
Campus Life
Labs for mechanical are very good, recently they have got tied up with Microsoft to get some integrated labs. Which is a good sign for cs students, and clubs are many in which nameley two or three works efficiently.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel infrastrutcure is good but cost for that is not good. For tower triple cost is 80000, double 90000, single 1lk and apartment, single 1,30,000,double 1,20,000 and AC charges 10000. And for fresher's there is no single room given which is a good sign. Atleast 10000 will be saved.
Alumni/Alumna
Even seniors are not satisfied with the college, there are namely 4-5 students who got settled well. Yes there networks are helping college. Though they may be helping our college is not ready to take that.
Admission
One of the college pro came to our inter college and from there I have gone through an interview conducted in our college itself, after getting selected in the interview scholarship is given based on my mains rank. Scholarships are also given based on inter marks, mains marks and mains rank
Faculty
For mechanical faculty and equipment is good for other it is not up to the mark, Cs and ece faculty are still learning the courses from YouTube, which even the students can do. Only a few faculty have good experience but they will not be coming to all the sections.
