Remarks

Everything will have it's positives and negatives, nothing in this world is perfect. The same way even bits has some positives and negatives. It all depends on the student in which way he or she wants to use it.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is in a way that gives you a brief exposure to all courses like maths, physics, chemistry in the initial years of your graduation without restricting to just your specialization in the under graduation. Even the electives that we have to do allows us to choose any course that interests us. The exam structure includes two main tests that are mid semester exams and comprehensive exams.

Placement Experience

Placements in bits are pretty good. For a bits student there are multiple opportunities for internships. You can do one internship right after the second year and one in the fourth year. And one more internship can be done in summer after third year. The stipend given depends on the company in which you are doing the internship.

College Events

There are multiple events celebrated in the campus. There are technical fest, cultural fest, sports fest and fest related to literature. And also there are some other events that will be conducted and also TED talks and etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a little expensive, I must say. But there is a SBI branch in campus which will provide you loan in case if you need. The fee will be increased every year with the rate of 15 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I mentioned before the SBI branch in campus provides loan facility for students. The estimation of fee for your four years is given by the institute before hand so that can get a loan appropriately.

Campus Life

There is plenty of scope for such extra curricular activities in bits. You do sports, dance, music (vocals or instruments), drama, acting, modelling, fashion designing, art, gym and many other. It depends on the student interest and skill.

Alumni/Alumna

Bits alumni are there in most of the companies. There is a connection maintained between the students and the alumnus. So the alumnus will help if reached out to them. They are pretty helpful and guide you in achieving your goals.

Admission

I have given Entrance exam BITSAT for under graduation and got admitted into B pharmacy (hons). Then I have applied for post graduation in the same University. For this we have apply again separately. But there won't be any exam again.

Faculty

4.5

Faculty in our college are highly experienced and really good in research aspect also. The minimum qualification for a faculty in bits is PhD. The faculty are really supportive and gives good exposure on recent improvements in the technical aspects.

Placement Experience:

Placement is good but one can get better placements outside rather than campus placement.companies like sun Pharma, cipla, mankind etc visited the college. I don't know about placements in detailed but it's quite good.While doing m pharm one can get placement from 3rd semester. I'm thinking to join pharmacoviglance after completing the degree

"College life"-Jaipur National University

Placement Experience:

After completing the third semester students get eligible for the campus placements. There are several companies visiting campus and students get placed in such companies. Companies are Cipla, mankind, lupin, etc. The highest package offered by the company is CTC-12 LPA, the average package is CTC-6 LPA and the lowest package is CTC- 3 LPA. Almost all the students get placed in different companies.

Remarks:

It actually depends upon the student attitude. Life has lots of ups and downs but at last it always you who justifies and make your life in your own way. There are lots of benefits and even few demerits in this university but it hardly matters.

Mixed feeling.

Remarks:

The college management was good but the hostel management is not the same. Many of them are poor in English and mostly used to communicate in Hindi which for a guy from southern part of India was tough.

BITS Pilani- A relevant review of Pharmacy

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . From 2023 there have been 2 attemtps of the same ,earlier there used to be only one .However one thing to keep in mind is the BITSAT exams occur right alongside the JEE Advanced examinations as well the results .I personally gave my bitsat the day my advanced results were announced...Read More

Honest BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) Review

I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey. The admission process is through the BITSAT exam, an online test includes Physics, Chemistry and Maths and English and Logical Reasoning. There is no reservation policy.
