Remarks
This University is good. Since I'm in Economics department of Panjab University, this department is one of the best department in this university, also the former PM Dr Manmohan Singh is alumnus of Economics department of Panjab University. And many renowned people are alumnus of Panjab University
Course Curriculum Overview
It's a nice course who want to go for masters in economics or for management studies. Exam structure is very simple, 6 semesters are there and you have to pass all the exams conducted in each semester.
Placement Experience
Placements are not good for this course since it's a bachelor's degree course. Also it doesn't provide any internships, interested students can take internships on their own. I don't have any info of stipend
College Events
Many fests are conducted in the university. Also each department of University conducts its own fest. All the interested students organise and conduct events and fests very nicely. Everyone enjoys alot
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is very feasible since it's a government university. Fees for Economics Honours course varies around Rs.10000 per semester which can easily be afforded by anyone. Other courses too may have feasible fee structure
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know anything about scholarships or loan facility since I didn't availed any. But there must be scholarships for students belonging to Economically weaker sections. Also there is no need to take loan since fees is feasible
Campus Life
There are many extra curricular activities taking place in University like there are sports events, various fests, competitions, etc. They are good, since I'm studying in Economics department so there is no use of lab over here, but labs are present in other departments where labs are required
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network is good, there may be alumni meets for the pass-out students, since I'm a current student so don't know about this more. Also seniors are good and of helpful nature. All the seniors are supportive
Admission
Fill the online form at Panjab University website for Economics Honours course, after that merit list will be out based on 12th percentage, then go for counselling and interview. After that final list will be out and selected students have to take admission
Faculty
Faculty is good, they teach by giving examples which makes the student to understand the topic easily. Also they are student friendly. All professors are well educated and have so much experience in teaching
