How do they distribute the 1st semester marks at MAKAUT?

The distribution of marks at MAKAUT is the same in all the semesters except the 7th and 8th semesters. The overall marks will be based on your performance in internal, external, and practical exams. The pattern and mark structures are given below.

• Two internal exams are conducted each semester for 30 marks. The marks are distributed equally for attendance and quizzes, each with 5 marks. The remaining 20 marks can only be secured in the written examination, and the valuation is done by the college authorities. The average of both exams will be added to the final score
• The external examination is conducted for 70 marks, and the valuation is conducted under the supervision of the university.
• The practical examination is held each semester, and the valuation process is conducted in the college itself.
