For CSE, Chandigarh University is the best option among these. The university offers good academics and placement opportunities. The department of Computer Science and Engineering at Chandigarh University has a dedicated faculty base. The department facilitates high-end research according to the industry challenges.

According to the recent placement highlights, Chandigarh University CSE average package is INR 7 LPA. From the department, around 93% of students get placed each year.

Academics: (Winning Institution - CU)

CGC Landran is affiliated with PTU and follows an outdated syllabus. But CU, being a university, has modified its syllabus according to the industry standards.
GCC’ training and placement department is very well organized and provides efficient training to cope up with the outdated syllabus.
There are efficient faculties for the latest technologies and computer languages such as Python, Java, PHP, Embedded Systems, etc and they make the placement preparation smooth as well.

Infrastructure: (Winning Institution - CU)

In terms of campus infrastructure, CU is much better than CGC Landran. Large playgrounds, huge buildings, gardens and lawns, long roads, etc enhances the beauty of the campus.
A clean and green overall campus all-around is found in CU.
The hostels and their mess are also quite decent. Most hostels are centrally cooled with all modern amenities.
Classrooms in the academic block are also clean and have all the necessary types of equipment.
On the other hand, CGC Landran has a small campus. The hostels and food are also not as good as CU.
The overall campus life of CGC Landran is nowhere close, compared to CU in terms of facilities, availability, and food.
The hostel management of CU is quite strict and conducts a lot of checking, whereas CGC hostels are somewhat lenient as compared to CU.

Placement: (CGC Landran ~ CU)

Both institutes fall under the CGC group and so conduct a joint placement program.
Students from both colleges get the opportunities to sit for every company visiting for selection.
The placements are generally very good in terms of the maximum package offered. The highest package of around 32-35 LPA is seen in recent years.
Overall facilities offered before and during placement are decent. As usual, students need to get prepared on their capabilities and skill-set to receive good offers from companies and have a flourishing career.

Overall, CU is the better choice looking into the facts of better infrastructure and campus. For candidates wanting to stay close to Chandigarh, CGC can be a better option.
