I’m in my second year of B.Tech Material Science Engineering at IIT Delhi, and I’ve found the curriculum to be fun and informative. We get to dive into a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. I’m excited about the placement scene for 2025/26 because the placement cell here is super active. They reportedly help around 80% of students land jobs with top companies. The average package is around 20 LPA, which is excellent for us! Plus, the overall campus life with clubs and activities adds a lot to our experience.

As a second-year student of Material Science Engineering at IIT Delhi, I really enjoy the coursework even if some parts feel a bit outdated. The practical applications of what we learn make it worthwhile. For placements in 2025/26, the stats are promising. Last year, over 60% of students secured jobs, and the highest package went up to an incredible 4 crore per annum! Internships are also available, so I feel confident about my future career prospects.

Looking ahead to placements in 2025/26, I’ve heard that around 80% of students get placed, with companies like Google, Amazon, and TCS coming to campus. The average package for the previous year was around 20 LPA, which is pretty impressive!
