I'm currently in the B.Tech Energy Engineering branch at IIT Delhi, and I have to say, the curriculum is quite challenging but super interesting! The faculty here is top-notch, and exams are tougher than JEE, which keeps us on our toes. As for placements in 2026, I've heard that companies like Ola and Bajaj come to recruit. The highest package last year was around 4 Crore for international roles, so I’m hopeful for a good outcome when I reach my final year.
I’m in the Energy Engineering branch at IIT Delhi, and honestly, the campus life makes it all worth it! The classes are intense, and the professors are knowledgeable, but it can be a bit dry sometimes. For placements in 2026, I’ve learned that many big companies come here, and students apply for internships in their 3rd year. The placement process seems strong, with several offers being made. I’m excited to see where I end up!
Joining IIT Delhi for B.Tech in Energy Engineering has been a fantastic choice for me. The curriculum is vast, covering a lot of subjects, and I wish there was more focus on practical work. I've noticed that students start sitting for placements in their 4th year, and the companies that visit are impressive. Last year, the highest package was 1 Crore for Indian roles, which is pretty motivating. I’m looking forward to my placement journey in 2026.
