The class size is around 45 students and there are 4 teachers for one batch including 1 PhD scholar. so the faculty to student ratio is good. Faculty seems very intuitive to teach. There are 2 sessionals and one end semester exam and you have to pass in one sessional to attend End semester exams. Marking is grade based and exams toughness varies from medium to high level actually it depends on how much you learnt.

BA {Hons.}, Chinese at JNU in 2024
1 faculty teaches around 40 students batch but never ever I've seen all the students attending class together. So it reduced to 1:25.
In Chinese centre, I like Usha chandran ma'am the most because of her teaching style and individual learning. Hemant adlakha and Mr. B.R. deepak are also the best faculty in my centre. 3 sessionals and 1 end sem exams are there. Chinese is tough language so, 40% student got fail in end sem in 1st year.

1:5 is the faculty to students ratio which is pretty good.and professors are soo good they focus on every student if one student isn't getting it correct they will repeat it multiple times. mohar mam I like her so much she's so sweet teaches soo well and makes class very interactive in between she'll also give a break after 1 hr of class and also make us laugh in between through her talks, all professors are soo doooo good I lik all of them.
In a semester we have two sessional out of them the best is taken and end sem so total 3 exams in 6 months.

The faculty ratio in our campus is 50:50 and the relationship with students and faculty member are really approachable and in good terms there's no such kind of faculty which I personally don't like. Every faculty in our department and campus is really good We have two sessional exams and one semester exams and In sessional exam We have to score good in one of them The level of difficulty is not that much high. It's quite difficult but student can score good by studying one month before exam
