About the course:
- This 2-year online postgraduate course was started in 2017 and is specially designed for working professionals with a job experience of 3 years but unfortunately no upper limit.
- It is as rigorous as the PGP and also has almost the same curriculum.
- The program does not offer any placement assistance as it is for working professionals.
- The program is very demanding so the trade off would probably quite high.
However, in terms of gaining knowledge the program is very impactful. You will see a positive impact of the program in 2-5 years.
Which course is better IIM Shillong PGPEx or IIMs ePGP?
When considering a business school program, especially a one-year program, it is important to consider the cohort of the peer group and the experiences they bring to the table. While the faculty and brand of the school are important factors, the main source of knowledge in these courses often comes from peer group interaction through group discussions, projects, and sharing of experiences.

Which course among PGP at IIM Indore and PGP-ABM at IIM Lucknow should one choose if he/she has an interest in Marketing and Operations?
The simple answer is that the choice of the course depends more or your overall profile than the course itself. Irresponsible of your specialization your chances at placements will be low if your resume is below average. Moreover, institutes like IIM Indore and IIM Lucknow offer joint placements for both programs.
Students can apply to any company irrespective of their specialization. Yet there are many who are able to get into their dream companies while some failed to get a call from a reputed firm. This is because the PGP program just added value to your resume and if that is already poor then even PGP cannot guarantee you a high-paying job.
So if you already have a good resume all you need to do is improve your resume in marketing and operations. This can be done through extra-curricular activities and B-school competitions. For this the PGP-ABM program is perfect.
But if you have a below-average resume, then go for PGP. Because then extracurricular activities alone will not improve your resume. You need class projects and good academic scores to upgrade it. Unlike PGP-ABM, you won’t miss out on basic electives related to marketing/ops/finance.
So nothing is certain about an MBA program. One needs to know what he will be doing after acquiring knowledge to decide which course to take. I will personally suggest you go for IIM Lucknow PGP-ABM if you just want to improve your resume.

NIEM Mumbai is a great institute for Event Management. The faculties at the institute are great and they offer good practical training. One of my friends attended the institute and vouched for their PG Event Management course.
With theoretical learning, make sure to participate in freelancing activities that will come your way. These activities can be very beneficial. The more you participate in the events the more contacts you have the chance of getting in touch with. Practical knowledge is more efficient it will go a long way in the improvement of your skills.

Which college is better for Finance among IMT Ghaziabad (PGDM) & TAPMI BKFS?
IMT is a well-established college and comparing it to a mediocre college like TAPMI is not justifiable. Of the two, IMT Ghaziabad is clearly a better choice. To explain further I have compared both these institutes on the basis of some parameters like
- Establishment: Both these institutes were established in 1980 so they carry an equal legacy.
- Alumni: Despite a similar legacy, IMT Ghaziabad alumni are placed in higher positions and top firms today. The extensive alumni network has opened gates for corporate and industry exposure. IMT Ghaziabad’s alumni comprise more than 300 CXOs.
- Location: IMT Ghaziabad enjoys a better location advantage over TAPMI
- Pedagogy: Both the Institutes are AACSB accredited and follow similar curriculums yet there is a stark difference in the quality of education. This is because of the better pedagogy at IMT Ghaziabad than at TAPMI.
- Faculty: IMT Ghaziabad's teaching methodology is way ahead of that of TAPMI and the credit goes to its excellent faculty with amazing profiles. They have great industry exposure and help the students grasp the concepts practically.

Admissions
- Admissions in Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (PGDHRM) is based on the performance in CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA/GMAT. The CAT Cutoff in Round 1 for PGDHRM was 90.
- The candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any subject with minimum 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Final selection is based on total marks received in GD, extempore and personal interview.

In NITIE, which programme is a better choice among PGDMM and PGDPM?
One of my friends is studying at NITIE, and as per his insights, both the programs are excellent. The final choice depends upon the area of your interest. Consider the following points before making the final choice.
- PGDPM concentrates on teaching project management along with functional areas like Finance, HR, and others. It is a strategic level course that creates professionals for every sector or industry.
- PGDMM is a course focusing on the manufacturing and operational part of a business. It builds skilled professional that is well-equipped with the latest technologies.
- As per the past placement statistics, the average package for PGDPM is INR 11.5 LPA, and for PGDMM is INR 10.8 LPA.
Apart from the above points, detailed information about the two programs is available on the institute webpage. You can compare the programs and make your final choice. Overall, the scope of both programs is high.
I have been shortlisted for DCP program in IMT G and MBA BM in XIMB? Which one would be better among the two?
I would say that you should definitely choose XIMB.
It's their primary program, and it will be much better than IMT G's DCP program. Just because of cost. The DCP program has fees that are over 22 lakhs and an average package of around 9 lakhs per annum. In contrast, the XIMB BM program has an average package of 13 lakhs per annum and fees of 15.40 lakhs for two years. Also, keep in mind that the DCP program is still new, so there won't be much support from the business.
I would have considered IMT G if it was a full-time program. If you can move up to IMT Ghaziabad and want to get an MBA with a focus on marketing and entrepreneurship courses, you should choose IMT Ghaziabad. But the DCP course fee isn't worth it for the same opportunity unless you want to work abroad, especially in Dubai.
What is the job prospect after doing PGDRDM from NIRDPR from Hyderabad?
NIRDPR offers both a 1 year PG Diploma course in Rural Development (RD) and a 2 year PGDM RD Course (from 2018).
Since it is a rural Development programme, the major focus of this course lies in reaching out and benefitting the rural regions.
The students of NIRD are hired as youth professionals in various such initiatives for a minimum of 2 years, that can be extended based on working performance.
These institutions provide a salary ranging between INR 33,000 - 45,000 per month, depending on location of job.
After 2 years, students are equipped with a real time perspective that qualifies them to grow in the development sector by climbing up the managerial ladder in government as well as private sector initiatives like CSR, Non Profit Organisations, etc.
The course offers experience of grass root reality in rural areas through field exposure visits and internships. These will boost your resume. The tag of being part of the NIRDPR, helps with career prospects. It is suggested that you opt for the two year course, as it is less hectic and provides learning with an unbiased perspective.
