Among NITs, NIT Trichy, NIT Warangal, and NIT Surathkal have great CSE programs. Their CSE course is at par with the top IIITs in the country.
Among IIITs, IIIT Hyderabad is the best option for a CSE course. IIIT Allahabad is pretty good too but not at the same level as IIIT Hyderabad.
Choose the institute you are getting based on your rank. In case you have the option to choose any of these NITs and IIIT Hyderabad, then compare infrastructural facilities, location, etc. to make a decision.
Not so reputed NITs like NIT Rourkela and NIT Durgapur have good CSE programs too. I received some good reviews about the CSE program at IIIT Siri City as well from my friends at the institute. But it will take time for Siri City to reach the same level as IIIT Hyderabad and IIIT Allahabad.
There is definitely no comparison between the two. Harvard Business School is definitely better than ISB. When it comes to Global MBA rankings, ISB ranks 98th in the world, and HBS ranks 2nd. You should not really compare B schools as each one of them has something unique to offer and have transitions in their programs.
You will notice that both colleges are quite different on the basis of their campus, program quality as well as syllabus, culture, faculty, employment rate, and fee structure. While Harvard will top everything in this regard, ISB is known to have a good reputation as the top B school in India.
But, if you are planning on getting a job somewhere, my suggestion would be to go to the same college as the job location. Harvard definitely will get you the brand name, but if you are looking at settling in India, you will be well off getting your education from ISB.
Some of my friends have studied at both colleges and the institute has provided some of the finest MBA graduates in the world. They have gone on to perform really well in big organizations and have showcased amazing leadership qualities.
Additionally, you should know that you will have to provide a GMAT or GRE score for admission to either of these places. It is advisable not to give CAT and focus on GMAT instead. Especially if you end up applying to big firms or fortune 500 companies, they will definitely ask you for a GMAT score that will have to be a part of your resume.
Harvard also has a better placement package as compared to ISB. But, the fee structure is quite expensive so you will have to decide if that works for you. You can refer to the college website for more information if you would like. Look at your post-MBA goals and then make a choice.
Among these institutes, VIT Pune is better for CS. Academics, infrastructure, exposure, placements, internships, etc. are better at VIT.
Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Nvidia, Tata Power, Atlas Copco, etc. are some of the major recruiters that frequently visit the campus placements. In the last semester, there is a compulsory 6-month internship module at VIT. This helps a lot with placements. According to trends of the last few years, VIT Pune CSE average package is INR 6.34 LPA. During 2021 placements, the highest CTC offered was INR 33.75 LPA.
College wise - IIT Roorkee > IIM Bodh Gaya > IIM Amritsar
I will chose IIT Roorkee due to the following reasons:-
The choice of UPTU college for a B.Tech CS/IT course depends entirely on your priorities and preferences. Consider factors such as your preferred location, cost of living, city culture, security, placement opportunities, and most importantly, the quality of education offered by the college.
While the quality of education may be a factor to consider, remember that ultimately, your success in college will depend on your own dedication and effort. The atmosphere and culture of a college can have an impact, but it is not the only determining factor in making a college the "best" choice for you.
Based on these considerations, we recommend that you consider IMS Engineering College as your first choice, followed by NIET, and lastly G.L Bajaj.
Here are a few drawbacks of pursuing an MBBS from KGMU
However, these cons can easily be overlooked considering the unending pros the institute has to offer.
Yes, you can certainly recover your marks even after a few bad mid-semester exams at Thapar University. One midterm will not affect your overall grades so you can rest your worries. One of my friends scored a 6.3 in his first semester but passed out of college with an 8.74 aggregate GPA. Here are a few tips that might help:
You don't have to worry about your poor marks in mid-semesters as you still have time to improve.
Both institutes are premier institutes and offer excellent Ph.D. programs. Based on my sister's experience who did her internship at the Machine Intelligence unit in ISI Kolkata. The institute has world-renowned researchers in the field of machine learning who have INAE, IAS, and IEEE profiles. Here you will also find people doing top-quality research in computational biology and other fields. The research environment is friendly and the PhD students are quite approachable.
As for IISc, it is one of the leading research institutes in India. However, a PhD from IISc is very challenging and you need to invest a lot o time and effort in the same. Moreover, most of the professors in IISc are world-famous always busy will their personal research work, and have little time to guide the students. This lack of guidance will delay your Ph.D.
Ultimately, it is up to you to decide which one to go for. Both institutes are top-notch and enjoy global recognition. It's best to contact the Ph.D. students of both institutes to get a better picture.
My cousin from Kerala was in a similar dilemma and had to choose between Calicut and AIIMS Jodhpur. Eventually, she went for AIIMS Jodhpur and stated a few reasons that encouraged her to take this decision.
All in all, my cousin was impressed by the hostel facilities of AIIMS Jodhpur and loved the fact that she would be getting a single room with an attached balcony and bathroom!
