Here are a few drawbacks of pursuing an MBBS from KGMU

KGMU does not have an academic environment and research culture at par with the Delhi colleges like JIPMER and CMC Vellore.
KGMU has a very rigid and rigorous curriculum sparing no time for students to do MCQ for PG while in most colleges, the classroom sessions are less so they have more time to indulge in MCQ. So most KGMU passouts are great doctors but are less practiced for the PG exam.

However, these cons can easily be overlooked considering the unending pros the institute has to offer.
