Is Kurukshetra University good for a B.Tech?
Some of my friends studied at Kurukshetra University. According to them, it hardly matters from which University you have graduated. All that matters is what you have learned in all those years. Here are some things about the college:
- The professors there should be well qualified, they must pay much attention to co-curriculum and above all good placements.
- Honestly speaking, my friends suggest that there isn't any good in doing B.Tech from Kurukshetra University.
- This is because the colleges affiliated with it are worth nothing.
- There are very few placements in the colleges and the staff is also not organized.
- The main concern of the students in KUK is the results.
- It has a record of very poor results whose blame can be put on both the University as well as the students.
- Furthermore, the curriculum is also not updated.

How good is TAPMI manipal for mba?
TAPMI is a private B-School situated in Manipal, Karnataka. Overall, Manipal is a place that will be missed by many!
Should I prefer IIIT Pune over IIIT Vadodara?
IIIT Pune would be a better option than IIIT Vadodara as it gives better exposure and has a decent placement record.
One of my relatives studies there, and it gives the idea about the college very well. However, the college is newly settled and not as old as other IIIT. It is growing and improving and in upcoming years it may become the top college in Maharashtra.

IIIT Guwahati is better than IIIT Sri City. It has an excellent placement record. How good is lloyd law college compared to Amity Law School Noida?
Lloyd Law College and Amity Law College have a few similarities. Here are some of them.

- Both are private colleges but since they are in NCR, the students get an edge of better exposure for litigation as well as judicial services preparation over similar colleges.

In conclusion, it is important to grab the opportunities wherever you go. Both of these are good, however, Lloyd is getting better with each passing day, and you will get better opportunities there.
Is it worth it to join Presidency College, Chennai?
It depends on your expectation. You can’t expect great infrastructure, since it is one of the oldest institutes in the country. But it has been renovated recently. The faculty base is decent. However, many professors teach in Tamil, since most of the students are from Tamil medium. The college starts at 8:30 am and end at 1 pm. So, you will get plenty of free time to do what you want. If you utilize your time well, it is definitely worth joining the college.
What is the order of preference among the following IBS (ICFAI) campuses: Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Gurgaon, or Kolkata?
If you're considering an MBA program, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Gurgaon are three of the most attractive options based on their placement prospects. Only the Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Dehradun campuses offer an MBA program, while other campuses offer PGPM. If you want a dual degree, you can pursue a PGPM from the campuses offering the program, combined with a distance learning MBA.

Before making your final decision, it is important to carefully weigh all of these factors. While Hyderabad offers excellent opportunities for development and growth, including a strong club culture, Mumbai and Gurgaon may be better options for you if you are closer to your hometown or primarily concerned about the return on investment.
I have got a CGPA of 6.5 in my first semester of BTech in IIIT-Hyderabad. Can I improve it till 8.5 for getting an admission offer in a prestigious management institute in IIMs or ISB?
People usually have two opinions regarding MBA admissions. First, the admissions have little to do with numbers, second, CGPA and numbers are extremely crucial. My answer is here to support the second opinion and she’s light on the importance of CGPA.
Don’t decide on your next degree hastily before even completing the first one. You may want to explore more interests before deciding what you want to finally choose. Most people in IIT commit the grave mistake of not focusing on their Academics because they think that the ECE or IT sector is not their cup of tea. They forget that they are among the best computer science minds right now and do not make the best use of this opportunity. Identifying the opportunities offered by the institute is a crucial step before deciding on your future career. Even if after enough reflection you realize that the IT sector is not for you, you may explore other options.
Recently many alumni of IIIT Hyderabad have joined as graduates of IIMs after gaining work experience. But almost every alumnus I have looked up had an excellent CGPA, nothing less than 8.5.
So CGPA is not the only factor but is one of the most important factors during admissions at IIMs. One can get into an IIM even with an average CGPA but having a good CGPA will increase the plethora of opportunities definitely.
