In Mathematics and Computing, the industry options are mostly limited to IT, focusing on areas like Analytics, Operations Research, and Optimization. However, as an Electrical Engineering graduate, you can not only enter IT but also explore various fields related to your core discipline. For example:

I can’t comment on what other IITs offer in their MBA programs, but I can share insights from the MBA program at IIT Kanpur over the past one and a half years. Here are some common concerns addressed:

While I can't disclose all placement figures, I can say that students were placed within just 5 days, achieving an average package of around 9.8 LPA and a median of about 9 LPA. Companies recruiting included Amazon, LAVA International, Deloitte, ITC Infotech, and others in the same league.
