Located in the northeast, it’s loaded with cultural and natural beauty. The natural beauty is what mesmerizes many making it the dream college of many engineering aspirants.
Academics wise too, the institute offers the best. The excellent infrastructure and beauty are conducive to an enriched learning experience. The faculty pool is very cooperative and the professors assist you in every possible way.
Overall, you will not regret joining IIT Guwahati and it will definitely prove to be a lifetime experience!
How is the energy systems engineering branch of IIT Bombay for an MTech?
Department of Energy Sciences at IIT Bombay is among the newest in comparison to Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering but its demand is increasing in a fast-paced manner. The reason is the shift in the demand from conventional to non-conventional forms of energy resources.
Faculty: The faculty is one of the best in the country. The HOD is a member of the Niti Aayog advisory board. Most professors and alumni have their own startups worth millions while some

Which one is better, LNMIIT or Thapar University?
It is known to everyone that there is a prevalent competition between LNMIIT and Thapar University. But as some of my friends studied at Thapar University, I can say that it stands out for many reasons.
- The faculty of Thapar University is excellent when compared to other colleges in India.
- COE is considered the best department among others.
- They have amazing research facilities in every department, mechanical to electrical. They are at par with IITs and BITS.
- They have clubs and societies both technical and non-technical. The technical societies include Team Fateh, OWASP, CCS, IEEE SC, IIEE, etc.
- Thapar is one of the oldest colleges with very well maintained infrastructure.
- Placements are really good at Thapar.
- The only thing that is a bit much is the course fees.

NMIMS Mumbai has an impressive track record in placements, with its students receiving lucrative salary packages during the annual placement drive. The latest NMIMS Mumbai Placements 2022 report has revealed a significant increase of 66.04% in the highest salary package, which was INR 57.65 LPA, as compared to the previous year. How was your MICA - Ahmedabad interview??
My friend gave her interview at MICA-Ahmedabad and cleared it. According to her, the interview went in a very smooth manner and it was overall a stress-free experience for her.
The panel had three people- 2 faculty members and an individual from the corporate.
The interview was based on the SOP and the applicant’s form.
My friend mentioned in her form that she hated getting waxed. Based on this response, the interviewers conversed with her about beauty and the pressing issue of always looking gorgeous. It was more like a conversation than an interview.
My friend also mentioned in her form how she was into the sport of shooting while at school. One of the interviewers had a funny exchange with her on this subject. This made my friend feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning of the interview.
Overall, my friend had an enjoyable experience with her interview at MICA-Ahmedabad and she will always cherish the memory of that day.

Is Amity University the best for aerospace engineering?
One of my friends studied aerospace engineering at Amity University, so let me share his experiences about the college and also the true facts about Amity University.
Amity University offers two programs in Aerospace - BTech in Aerospace Engineering and a Dual degree program ( Integrated BTech + MTech).
- There are very few experienced faculty members in both of these departments. They are not very active and supportive.
- The course curriculum is well designed, however, the teaching methodology is not very impressive.
- The department is very strict about the attendance of students. The students need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance. The department debarred the students who fail to attain 75% attendance in any subject.
- The aerospace department is separated from the Amity School of Engineering and technology and thus the students miss out on most of the events and programs.
- The student crowd is huge at Amity. There are various spots of the student crowd such as Domino, CCD, Small market, Salons, etc. huge events are being organized for students.

The campus placement is not good in the aerospace department. Either you will be selected in Defence or any IT company. There are no internship opportunities available. You will hardly get a package ranging from INR 4-5 LPA. The course fee is also high in respect to the placement given. The course curriculum is mainly theoretical and very less practical.
You should try for another better college for doing Aerospace rather than in Amity.

How can I get admission in Tnau agriculture institute Tamil Nadu if I am from Maharashtra?
You need to take TNAU entrance to get admission to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. For UG and PG courses, admission is based on merit. You need to score good marks in the entrance exam, in order to get shortlisted. The required cutoff changes each year based on competition and the number of seats available. TNAU has an NRI quota as well.
Who is the best faculty at CSED, NIT Calicut?
According to my brother, these are the best teachers at the Department of CSE, NIT Calicut-
- Dr. Vineeth Paleri- Dr. Paleri is the best teacher at CSED, NIT Calicut, according to popular opinion. His professionalism, vision, ideas, and clarity of thought are unmatched. Sir’s attention to detail and perfection leave you motivated and charged. You will learn a lot if you get to do your project under his guidance. He taught my brother the Principles of Programming Languages and Compiler Design. His personality inspires my brother to work hard and excel in life.
- Dr. Muralikrishnan K - Sir is a highly passionate teacher and it is not easy to score grades in his subject. He doesn’t care much about attendance, but it is a huge loss for you if you plan on missing his classes. He taught my brother Computational Complexity and later on, Combinatorial Algorithms. He teaches theoretical concepts in the most interesting manner providing his students with a different perspective. Computational Complexity is the most difficult course in CSE but sir turned it into quite an interesting one.
- Dr. Vinod Pathari- Sir taught my brother Computer Security. He researches his course well in the beginning and keeps on improving upon his teaching methods through student feedback. His class delivery is unparalleled. In Computer Security, sir makes you do projects that turn out quite well in the end.
All these professors have immense trust in the integrity and potential of their students. All of them have a great connection with their students which enables them to deliver their lectures in the most perfect manner. Thus, these are the teachers at CSED, NIT Calicut who inspired my brother to work harder for his goals.
