How is IIFM, Bhopal?
IFM Bhopal is a sectorial B-School and offers you the opportunity to join a niche field. You will have the option to explore mainstream sectors as well. As it is a residential program, there are good chances of peer-to-peer learning. The institute has an excellent faculty base. The professors have years of experience in their respective domains.
IIFM Bhopal placements are excellent. NGOs, finance sector organizations, govt. Organizations recruit from the institute. The median CTC received by the students of the institute is around INR 7.30 LPA.

BITS Pilani can make great changes in one's life. This institute made me humble, stress-free and organized. Since this college is relatively far away from the city, we will start to embrace the village and its cultural life. This college is culturally rich, and We will meet highly talented students with great enthusiasm and determination. This institute is blessed with an amazing coding culture. There are some students who are interested in entrepreneurship, while others can easily manage both sports and academics. We will learn new things and start to lead a simple life in the future.
How is the Hostel life at IIFT Delhi?
There are 4 hostels, one for girls and three for boys. 2 of the boy's hostels are located outside the campus with one being within walking distance while the other one is located around 4.5 km away from the campus with a regular bus being there for transportation needs of the students. The rooms are nice and spacious and have all the required amenities. Mess facilities are available at each hostel with decent healthy food including Veg and Non-Veg Options. One has to opt for Hostel during registration and rooms are allocated based on the ranking. Hostels and Mess Charges are competitive and affordable.
What are the cons and pros of doing an undergraduate degree from IGNOU?
In education, the university does not matter more than your performance and marks. You might have graduated from IIT but your scores might be average. Similarly, you might have graduated from IGNOU and scored much more marks. Your degree from IGNOU can never be a negative aspect in your resume.

You can continue to prepare for further exams alongside doing BA from IGNOU. There are several examples where people cracked UPSC at the age of 22 with just a degree from IGNOU without any coaching. One such example is Keshavendra Kumar IAS from Bihar. So yes, it’s a tough but probable choice you need to make.
Is a BCom (A & F) from IGNOU eligible for pursuing CFA?
Yes, a BCom (A&F)degree from IGNOU is eligible for pursuing CFA. A bachelor's degree with UGC accreditation is considered eligible for level 1 examination. CFA University doesn’t have a list of approved universities.
You can go for CFA course if you are in your final year. There’s a provision that your graduation years and experience in Finance combined should be at least equal to four years. If you are not a graduate but you have four years of work experience in Core Finance, you can go for CFA course as well.
Which should I select for a BTech - Thapar university or LPU?
I would advise choosing LPU because of the following reasons:
- It is a reputed university with good faculty. Majority of the faculty members are from top colleges like IITs and IIMs.
- Despite being a private university, LPU offers scholarships for a number of courses.
- Students get placed in the 3rd year itself and go for the on-the-job training and industry experiences.
- Each year, over 550 recruiters come to the LPU campus for placements.
Which is the best for distance education, IGNOU or SMU?
Indira Gandhi National Open University is a central government-owned educational institute. The college is recognized by AIU and has been approved by UGC.
Sikkim Manipal University Distance Learning is owned by a public-private partnership. The college is also recognized by UGC.

IGNOU has the advantage of being the largest open-learning institute and top-ranked in the country being run by the central government. Also, IGNOU has better foreign associations with top-institutes. However, SMU provides better internships and placements. Both provide the great features of e-learning too. Between the two IGNOU is a more recognized and larger institute.
How do I get transcripts from the University of Rajasthan?
You can get your transcripts from the University of Rajasthan by following the easy steps below.
- Submit the duly filled application form along with the required documents at the examination center.
- Carry the photocopies of all your mark sheets.
- The required fees are around INR 1320 per set of transcripts.
The university usually takes around 20-25 days to send the transcripts.
How are the hostel facilities at Tezpur University?
I have a few friends from Tezpur University. According to them, the hostel facilities at the institute are quite good.
- WiFi - Most of the time the campus WiFi works well. However, you will have to deal with crappy connectivity from time to time.
- Food - Food offered at the mess is average. You are allowed to use the gas in mess to cook too.
- Canteen - Almost all hostel have their separate canteens, that stay open all night.
- Peers - At the beginning, it can be challenging to blend in, but with time it gets easier.
- Common room - It is a great hangout spot. You can play various games like carrom, table tennis. You can also catch up on sports programs on tv.
Overall, the hostel facilities on TU are decent.
Which is better for an MS in General Surgery: AIIMS, JIPMER or PGI?
Surgery can’t be read and understood. Also, no matter the number of simulations you run through, practicing on a human body is very different.
Now, with their limited number of beds, these institutions perform complex surgeries through protocol defining procedures. As a resident at these, you won’t perform many surgeries. Also, you’ll have a limited exposure to trivial diseases. On the flip side, you’ll witness some of the best surgeons at work, and access top notch technology. To master surgery, you’ll have to become an SR at these institutions.
But at a decent government college hospital, the volume of patients is very high. As a result, you’ll be pushed into the OT. So you’ll get good practice, under proper supervision. However, at these colleges, protocols take a back seat. You’ll have to compromise with low funding as a resident at these institutions.
I would personally recommend going for a decent government college. But you should choose according to your own preferences.
