Will they take only last 4 semester’s aggregate for graduation in vtu?
Yes, VTU will do an aggregate over your 4 semesters, for your degree certificate. Your grades will be decided on your score in the last semester. If your average percentage of 4 semesters is more than 60% and less than 70%, then you will get first class. If your average is above 70%, then you will clear your BE with first class and distinction.

Yes. The Malaysian Immigration Department allows international students to work on a part time basis. Students can work up to 20 hours per week during sessions and full time during vacations.
What percentage is needed for taking admission in SRCC?
One of my friends studied at Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC). According to him it is a fulfilment for every commerce aspirant. It is ranked as one of the best commerce colleges in the country. It offers two undergraduate courses - B.Com (H) and B.A Economics (H).
- For taking admission in B.Com(H), you need to score a minimum 98% (Best 4) in Class 12 boards or other equivalent examinations.
- It is compulsory for students to have Mathematics in their class 12th but not a compulsion to add it in Best 4.
- BA Economics (H) requires you to score 98.5% (Best 4) in Class 12 boards and it is compulsory to include Mathematics in Best 4 while calculating the percentage.
You must study any three of the listed subjects which is mentioned in the DU website for the respective course, otherwise 2.5% gets deducted.
What is the average package and rate of placement of B.Des from IIT Bombay or IIT Guwahati and its scope in the future?
Both IIT Bombay and IIT Guwahati BDes branches offer excellent job opportunities and the high figures are a reflection of the same. IIT Bombay BDes recorded a placement percentage of 71%
IIT Guwahati BTech and BDes average package stood at INR 26.33 LPA. DOD recorded a placement percentage of 71.05%. The branch offers a plethora of future prospects and most students venture into successful careers in the field of Interaction Design. The institute has a record of having some of the best recruiters like Microsoft, Samsung RnD, Flipkart, Uber, Sprinklr, Ola, and many more who recruit designers from IIT Guwahati mainly for the role of UI / UX designers. The demand for these jobs and designers is increasing day by day so getting a good package for a BDes student shouldn’t be a concern for students of either institute.
For a specific company to stay in the race, it’s important to design a product that would attract more users than the company's competitors and it all required a good designer. So the role of a Designer and the scope of the branch, in general, should not be underestimated.
What is the procedure for the improvement exam in Sol DU for a BA h first year?
Since my brother is a student of the School of Open Learning (University of Delhi), he was able to offer better insight on the topic. Here is what he had to say about the improvement rule mandated by the institute.
- The only exam you are permitted to improve is the last one that you appeared for. For example, let’s say that you appeared for the B.A 2nd-year examination then it is possible to only improve it once later on. While it is not possible to implement the improvement rule on the exam, like B.A 1st-year, that you appeared in the previous year.
- Now, it does not necessarily matter if your score either increases or decreases because whatever you score is going to be the ultimate score you receive. The marks that you retrieve will be final and you will have to surrender the previous score when you apply for the improvement exam.
So, if you want to opt for an improvement, you need to fill the UnderTaking form. Attach your original mark sheet with the form. In case you didn’t get the original mark sheet, you can contact SOL.
Is changing the branch in PEC Chandigarh easy after the first year?
You need to have a high CGPA to change your branch at PEC Chandigarh. The branch change or branch upgradation option is given after the first year. The rules of branch change are as follows.
- The availability of branch change options depends on the vacancies.
- Students are required to have a minimum of 8 CGPA, to apply for branch change. However, the actual required CGPA varies depending on the branch and competition. In recent years, the CGPA required for CSE was 10. For Mechanical and Electrical, the cutoff CGPA was ~ 8.25.
CGPA requirement for CSE usually stays high. Upgradation to ECE, Mechanical or Electrical is comparably easier.
Is IIT Madras Bsc Data Science and programming worth?
My friend was eager to be part of the IIT Madras and when he came across an opportunity that would help him attain his dream without JEE, he grabbed it and filled out the application form for a B.Sc. Data Science and Programming. He was luckily selected and shared his experience at IIT Madras

IIT Dhanbad is undoubtedly a great academic institution but I think IIT Bhubaneswar is a better choice for I have myself been a student at the institution.
