How are the placements of Frankfinn Institute Of Air Hostess Training in recent times specifically for male stewards?

AP
Ashmita Patel, Posted On : November 15th, 2021
Studied at National Institute of Open Schooling (2017)

It is suggested that you do not waste any money by enrolling in these institutions. They are only concerned with making money. Frankfinn though has tie-ups with different airlines and may get you to the interview process. But doing the course is not going to help you in the longer run.

Each airline has its own way of grooming and safety rules. You will end up spending a lot of money, only to get disappointed if not selected.

Instead of spending time and money here, follow these points as they will help you in better ways:

  • Give a lot of interviews with different companies. It doesn't matter if it's an airline or any other company. Just apply for the job and go for the interview.
  • You do not have to take the job if you are selected, but witnessing it will give you a better understanding of how to crack an interview.
  • This will give you a lot of confidence with each round and each interview.

Therefore, after giving plenty of interviews in different companies you will be prepared for the right one. With your experience, you will be able to take a confident approach to each question.

How is NMIMS currently? What is the placement package?

SD
Sritama Dutta Posted On : January 25th, 2022
MBA Marketing, SVKM's NMIMS (2020)

NMIMS Mumbai is one of the most reputed B-Schools in the country. It is well-established and has a significant industry reputation. It has a vast alumni base, great faculties, and excellent placement statistics. As it is located in Mumbai, students get great industry exposure.

It is mostly known for its Marketing, Finance, IT, and Operations specializations. Companies also offer general management roles in the placement drive. But due to the vast batch size, only a handful of people can get such opportunities. In terms of ROI, it is a bit expensive compared to the other B-Schools in the same league. The living cost of Mumbai plays a huge role in that.

Is it worth joining IIM Nagpur for 10 Lakhs, considering that IIM Ahmedabad will be mentoring it initially?

BS
Bhavni Sushmita Posted On : November 21st, 2022
MBA in Management, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (Graduated 2017)

If you don’t have a better option and can’t wait for a year more, it’s best to go for IIM Nagpur. Although it’s not among the top IIMs, it will not disappoint you. The main reasons for the same are:

  • Firstly, IIM Nagpur is mentored by IIM Ahmedabad. So you will get the chance to be taught by IIMA faculty in the same methodology.

  • IIM Nagpur is located in a well-connected city so has all the basic facilities like connectivity, a local support system, local industry, and safety.

  • The placements at IIM Nagpur are also good considering the students have been trained by IIMA faculty.

If you are tight on budget then pursuing MBA from IIM Nagpur is not a bad choice.

There are two main ways to get admission to the Delhi School of Economics (232 seats): direct admission (50%) and entrance test (50%): -

Direct Admission (116 seats) - Any applicant who has previously completed a B.A. (Hons.) in Economics from the University of Delhi with a minimum of 60% marks is eligible to apply in this category. How do you prepare for the JNU entrance exam for BA hons in foreign languages?

SO
Sayla Ojha Posted On : September 30th, 2021
B.A in French at JNU Delhi (2020)

One of my friends was selected for BA French at JNU a few years back and here are his tips on how to do well in the entrance exam.

G.K: You should incorporate every little detail from Arts, Literature, Drama, Culture, Dress, Cuisines, Geography, Nobel Laureates, and more to become familiar with the language you have pursued.

Reasoning Skills: You should be proficient in solving several coding-decoding problems, especially alphabetical orders, blood relations, syllogisms, direction, and ranking tests.

English: It is equally important to be as strong in English as you are in other subjects. Various course areas, like the Basic grammatical Rules, Vocabularies, Reading Comprehension, and Passages should be on the tip of your tongue. For best results, you should follow the editorial and articles published in “The Hindu.”

English includes a major marking scheme for all the other sections. Now, since an essay alone contains a scheme of about 20-30 marks, it is best that you practice writing ingeniously without using heavy vocabulary. JNU appreciates the artistry of innovation and it is best to keep their tastes intact. Simplicity is encouraged along the lines of critical thinking, at least more than sophisticated word formations.

It is best to keep your thoughts perfectly aligned with the subject area, and not outside of it.

What is the Best & Worst of studying at CUSAT?

SV
Shivam Verma Posted On : February 24th, 2024
Studied at Cochin University of Science and Technology

Like any other institution, CUSAT has its own pros and cons.

Here is the best and worst of studying at this university-

Best-

  1. CUSAT at one point, was to become a central university. It has a high reputation, especially in the eyes of the older generation.
  2. Studying at CUSAT is a great opportunity to be exposed to the rich culture of Kerala.
  3. The university ground is huge, and the Basketball court is fully filled in the evenings.

Wrost-

  1. The teaching lacks enthusiasm and spirit. The classroom lectures are a waste of time.
  2. The academic calendar is not properly followed.
  3. Some teachers are not student friendly at all. They have a bit of an ego problem.
  4. The attendance criteria is much hated by all students.
  5. It is a lot of work to even get an application approved. The office staff is very inefficient.
  6. The uniform makes things very dull and monotonous.

These are just some of the goods and bads of CUSAT. Overall, the time spent at this university is filled with unforgettable experiences and cherished memories.

What is it like to study at IIT Indore?

SR
Satadru Roy Posted On : June 17th, 2023
B.Tech Computer Science Engineering Indian Institute of Technology Indore (2021)

My friend was taken aback when she had no other option than IIT Indore CSE. She realized that her career had ended even before starting and then she decided to give it a chance. The first night at the hostel itself convinced her otherwise. The intelligence and talents of her roommates amazed her and her doubts regarding the quality of students here washed away. She was happy that she hadn’t gone for a less preferred branch at an older IIT instead. She was proud of making contributions among a smaller batch rather than remaining unidentified among a flock of geniuses.

Today she is proud of her decision and her love for IIT Indore has grown ten folds. Her batchmates are successful and have proved the institute's credibility. Some of them have topped GATE, while some have offers from CMU, Georgia Tech, and UIUC. Some of them even managed to get an entry in IIMs while some are working at blue-chip software companies.

My friend concluded that studying at IIT Indore was nothing short of a miracle considering the excellent opportunities and exposure she got.

How hard is it to get into mit (Manipal University)?

MS
Madhulika Saha Posted On : February 24th, 2022
B.Tech Biomedical Eng. from Manipal University (2020)

The level of difficulty of the MIT entrance test, i.e. MUOET is medium. If your concepts are clear you can easily score high marks.

  • MUOET will be easier than JEE Mains. But you should prepare for the JEE Mains level, that way you can do well for any university entrance test.
  • Most questions are based on formulas and cases related to formulas. So, knowing formulas well will definitely help you in the entrance test.
  • One thing that most students attempting MUOET find difficult is speed. If you are fast, you will be able to solve more questions, that way you can score better.

You should keep in mind that easy paper results in more competition, so don’t aim below 150.
