You can go for IIBS Bangalore. My friend pursued his MBA from IIBS Bangalore. The campus is huge and the infrastructure is quite impressive too. Separate rooms are provided for different activities. The classrooms are wide and spacious and the campus has a wi-fi facility. All the modern technologies are provided in the institution.

IIBS Bangalore faculty is good and understanding. Some faculty members have worked in the corporate sector in the past. With their experience, faculty members help groom the students for the corporate world and provide them necessary training. Students learn about corporate culture and professionalism. MBA students go on international tours for industry visits. The institution offers a good learning experience with decent placements.

The 2022 placement statistics for IIBS Bangalore are as follows-

Highest Package

Rs.48.6 Lacs LPA

Average Package

Rs.8.9 Lacs LPA

The college is a good choice for pursuing your management studies. However, make sure to consult the alumni before concluding.

How good is DUs Satyawati College?

PT
Prajwal Tiwari Posted On : October 12th, 2022
Studied at Satyawati College, University of Delhi

Satyawati was a part of the Delhi University campus before it was relocated to Ashok Vihar.

When you are admitted to one of the DU colleges, you place a high value on education. There are many amenities in college that other colleges do not have, one of which is the Largest Auditorium at DU.

It's a good college with friendly students. The seniors are helpful. There are numerous co-curricular societies to which one can belong. Ragging is prohibited at the college because of the anti-ragging policy. Except for a few, the teachers have extensive experience and training. The building's infrastructure is adequate, and the classrooms are also spacious. There is a fantastic library as well. The canteen is excellent. The ground is in good condition and is well-maintained.

What is the difference between SOL and regular college in DU?

DR
Divya Rohira Posted On : September 28th, 2021
Studied at School of Open Learning (SOL),University of Delhi, graduated in 2020

There is no difference between the courses followed by SOL at the University of Delhi. However, once the semester system was started in the regular colleges under the University, some differences have been seen. There is nothing to worry about, though. The syllabus of SOL is good.

The courses offered in SOL are year wise whereas the coursework of the regular colleges is semester-wise. SOL is basically for those candidates who are also employed. All the processes are carried out online. It offers courses like M.A., M.Com, B.Com (Hons.), etc.

GB
Govind Batra Posted On : July 5th, 2021
MBA Finance & Marketing, Institute of Management, Nirma University (2018)

Many of my friends are alumni of the Institute of Management, Nirma University, and also many of them are studying at other reputed colleges such as IIMs, IIFT, NMIMS, SIBM, and the likes. So, I am quite aware of the placement situations at these B-schools.

Nirma has been faring better than their peers with many companies of repute lining up for campus placements. Well on a comparison basis, the academic curriculum is at par with the best B-schools in the country with very accomplished faculty taking courses at the Institute. Nirma also offers good infrastructure, campus, etc.

Now, coming to the most important factor, i.e. ROI, Nirma is definitely worth the investment that you make. And if you have decent academics and skills, you will get a good placement through the campus drive.

Here is a brief highlight of the recent placement statistics for Nirma.

Average CTC

INR 9 LPA

Highest CTC

INR 12 LPA

Placement Average

100%

Major recruiters

Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TCS

If you’re above the 80–85 % category, Nirma will not disappoint you.

NITIE is a renowned institute and is among the top institutes in this league. Candidates belonging to an engineering background are eligible for admission here. There are other criteria to meet which are as follows:

Everyone says K J Somaiya is better than TAPMI in all terms. Still, TAPMI is ahead of K J in rankings by almost every magazine or site. Why?

DK
Divya Kaur Posted On : July 8th, 2021
Studied PGDM from T. A. Pai Management Institute (2011)

TAPMI is considered to be much better than K J Somaiya. I can say this because my brother has completed his education from TAPMI and I have some friends who have studied in K J Somaiya.

  • TAPMI has been AACSB accredited for the past few years now. It's not that simple for colleges to attain and maintain that accreditation. TAPMI is ahead in rankings because it deserves to be ranked above K J Somaiya.
  • K J Somaiya provides courses for a lesser amount of money as compared to TAPMI and this is one of the major reasons why people tend to get confused between TAPMI and K J Somaiya.
  • Both K J Somaiya and TAPMI are considered to be Tier 2 colleges in India. TAPMI has been able to make students good leaders.
  • The only advantage that K J Somaiya has over TAPMI is the location. K J Somaiya is situated In Mumbai which can be of great benefit for many students.
  • TAPMI has helped over 400 students to get placed every year. The average package offered by companies to students of TAPMI comes around to be INR 10.6 Lakhs per annum. Some top recruiters of TAPMI include Deloitte, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
  • The campus and infrastructure of TAPMI are also a lot better than K J Somaiya.

Hence, TAPMI is better than K J Somaiya and deserves a better ranking in magazines and websites.

Should I join IIT Gandhinagar CS or NIT Trichy CS?

AA
Aarti Ahuja Posted On : August 2nd, 2023
Lives in Ahmedabad

In my opinion, B.Tech CS from IIT Gandhinagar is a better choice. I am listing down the reasons why I would’ve chosen IIT Gandhinagar CS over NIT Trichy CS-

  1. IIT Gandhinagar is one of the best new IITs after IIT Hyderabad, IIT BHU, and IIT Indore.
  2. It also has very good placements like NIT Trichy with an average package for CS crossing 29 LPA at present.
  3. The government funding is far more for IITs.
  4. IIT Gandhinagar has changed immensely in the last few years. It is growing rapidly.
  5. Gandhinagar is more developed than Trichy.
  6. IIT Gandhinagar carries the highly recognized ‘IIT’  tag.

IIT Gandhinagar is the 11th most preferred IIT. It is expected to show more growth than NIT Trichy in the coming years because of its IIT tag and greater government funding.

Thus, I would suggest you go to IIT Gandhinagar for your CS.
