What is the placement scenario at NSIT for ICE stream? How much CGPA is required for a good placement??
Placements for ICE are both good and bad at NSIT-
- Core jobs are very less in number. Core companies visit the campus in very small numbers, offer very low packages, and you may end up working in some remote location.
- However, the overall placements are quite good and ICE students can get placed in multiple profiles like finance, marketing, analyst, software developer, etc. These profiles offer good packages and a metropolitan work location, mostly the Delhi NCR region. But for these offers, you will face competition from all the branches. You will get placed in a renowned organization if you start preparing from your 2nd year onwards. These profiles aren’t branch specific so there is a high competition.
Apart from talent, your grades will play a huge role during the placement process. Maintain an 8+ CGPA to be able to sit for majority company placements. Also, for candidates of equal caliber, the company uses CGPA as an important deciding factor during the selection process.
Thus, as an ICE student at NSIT, you will get good placement opportunities in various sectors other than your core sector.

ISB Hyderabad's 1 year MBA program or Top 25 US B schools 2 year MBA program? Which is worth in the long run in terms of opportunities and pay package?
You cannot logically compare US B Schools with ISB Hyderabad considering the difference in the quality of peer ground and overall education.
To give a better understanding, compare the ROI of both the B Schools. ISB Hyderabad MBA fees are around 24-28 Lakhs per year and considering the placement scenario, you cannot get a package of more than 15-18 Lakhs. On the other hand, the average fee of a US B School is around 120-200k Dollars and the salary one can expect from a B School is 120k. The ROI in the latter case is much better.
However, these ROI calculations have overlooked one part. As an International student, you'll need a job with a firm that sponsors h1b visas. This reduces 70% of coveted jobs. Now the hunt for a suitable job is tougher and you have to also hope that you win the h1b lottery. If you are unable to do so you might end up in India with a heavy loan of 80-90k Lakhs with an average salary of 15-20 LPA.
So we can say that US B Schools are always the better option than ISB Hyderabad but the risks involved are tenfold.

How did you get into MBA in FMS Delhi?
I will narrate to you the experience of my sister who thought she could never make it into FMS. But she tried anyway and as luck would have it she made it!
In 2016 my sister did not fill FMS application form as she thought she wouldn’t be accepted. With a percentile of 96.54, she got into MDI. Soon after she got interested in consulting, she rejected MDI and with little hope fill the application form for FMS the next year. With a CAT percentile of 99.21, she received an interview call. Almost all the other candidates had a better percentile than her. Yet she did not give up and went into the interview room with full confidence and a positive attitude. Amazingly she ranked 3rd out of 1010 candidates for GD/PI/Extempore Rounds. After a waitlist, she finally made it into FMS Delhi.
Once admitted she never took this opportunity for granted and made the best out of her MBA years. So never give up even before trying!

A fantastic B.com (Hons) college with extremely serious faculty members. Their hours are from 16:00 to 19:00., for the first semester students. Please keep in mind that the number of subjects increases as you advance in your career. As a result, it is natural for Zakir Husain to extend the timing until 20:00-20:30.

Bhagat Singh College (Evening)
A wonderful college on the South Campus that gives students a lot of opportunities. Their evening college schedule does not begin in the evening. For both shifts, they have the same Principal and other administrative staff. Their evening shifts begin at 14:00.
It is to be noted that every Evening college operates on the same schedule as these two colleges.
Which college is better, SASTRA or Amrita?
One of my seniors from school is an alumnus of Amity University and he was very satisfied with the BBA program of the university. He completed his course with ease with a bit of smart work.
- The BBA course aims to prepare the students for a life in management in business after successful completion of the degree. The faculty would be productive if the students are proactive in their approach.
- Amity University gives ample opportunities to the students for growth if they are willing to take the initiative.
- The university is somewhat expensive and the return on investment leaves a lot to be desired. If you are looking forward to BBA then you should start preparing for MBA from the first year itself. Most companies that visit the campus in the hopes of recruiting BBA students are BPOs or KPOs.
Overall, Amity is a decent option for a BBA degree.
