XIMB MBA Admission 2021: Xavier University to Close Applications by Dec 27; Details Here

XIMB, Xavier University has announced the application process for MBA Admission 2021 through its official website: xub.edu.in. The last date for registration is December 9, 2020. 

Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar (XIMB), has opened admissions for courses namely, MBA-BM, EMBA-BM, MBA-HRM, MBA-RM, MBA-SM, MBA-UMG and MBF. Interested candidates can register online by paying an application fee of INR 1600.

XIMB, one of the top-ranked B-schools in India is accredited by SAQS and is an integral part of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar. XIMB, Xavier University MBA Admission 2021: Eligibility Criteria

To apply for MBA admission 2021 at XUB, candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

• Possess a strong and consistent academic background.
• Hold a bachelor's degree of minimum three-year duration, with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Appeared in CAT 2020, XAT 2021 or GMAT (between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020) 
• Scored minimum prescribed sectional and total scores in CAT 2020, XAT 2021 or GMAT (between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020) 
• NMAT by GMAC 2020 scores accepted for MBA-HRM, MBA-RM, MBA-SM, MBA-UMG and MBF programs.
• 3 plus years of relevant work experience after graduation for admission to the Executive MBA Program(s).
• Work experience is not mandatory for other MBA programs. Relevant work experience after graduation is an added advantage. 

Note: Candidates in the final year have to complete degree exams by June 15, 2021. Admission offers will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled if candidates fail to obtain a degree before June 15, 2021.

XIMB-Xavier University MBA Admission 2021: Selection Process

 Xavier University, Bhubaneswar gives equal weightage to entrance exam scores, academic profile, work experience, and other parameters. The university will announce their cut offs during shortlisting. However, the cut-offs moderate in the range of 85- 90 percentile.

Shortlisting 

Candidates will be short-listed for Group Discussion (GD)-Written Ability (WAT)-Personal Interview (PI) rounds based on sectional and overall scores in the entrance exam. Section-wise and overall cut-offs will be announced at the University’s own discretion.

Personal Interview Round 

XIMB, Xavier University will conduct admission of shortlisted candidates in February and March 2021 for final selection. After shortlisting, GD-WAT-PI will be held at different cities like Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Candidates have to appear in interview sessions at their own travel expenses. 

Final Admission Offer 

Final selection will be based on academic profile, performance in the entrance exam, interview round, work experience among others. Final Admissions will be offered in the first week of April 2021. The academic session would commence in the middle of June 2021.

XIMB MBA Admission 2021: How to Apply?

Follow the steps mentioned below for Xavier University, Bhubaneswar MBA Application process: 

Step 1: Register and Apply for Entrance Exam 

Applicants have to appear in any of the following Admission Test:: 

• XAT 2021 by XLRI, Jamshedpur, on January 03, 2021
• CAT 2020 by IIMs on November 29, 2020; GMAT as taken in 2019 or 2020
• NMAT by GMAC 2020 (for select programs).

In case applicants do not register and appear in any of the above entrance exams. They can appear for X-GMT 2021 to be conducted by Xavier University, Bhubaneswar on January 31, 2021. 

Note: XAT/CAT/GMAT is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB, if not opting for X-GMT which will be held on January 31, 2021. Applicants have to select X-GMT on the same application form against the academic programs and pay a test fee (INR 1200).

Step 2: Apply to Xavier University

• After registration for entrance tests, fill online application form separately on the Xavier University website.
• Pay the application fee (INR 1600 for the first option, and INR 400 each for the subsequent options), applicants will be intimated by email about the acceptance of the form.
• Use a single form to apply for multiple programs through multiple tests.
