The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released the JEPBN 2026 Round 1 cutoff. The result is live on the official portal at wbjeeb.nic.in. Candidates can log in to view the allotted institute and rank.

JEPBN stands for the Joint Entrance for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme. Round 1 covers 117 seats across 21 nursing institutions in West Bengal. Allotted candidates must now complete seat acceptance within the notified window.

What Are the JEPBN 2026 Counselling Rounds?

WBJEEB conducts the JEPBN counselling in three rounds. These are Round 1, Round 2, and the Stray Vacancy Round. All rounds run online through the candidate portal.

Round 1 allotment is the first chance for seat placement. Candidates who miss out can register again for Round 2. Vacant seats after Round 2 open in the Stray Vacancy Round.

How to Check the JEPBN 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result?

Candidates can follow these steps to view the result online:

1. Visit the WBJEEB portal at wbjeeb.nic.in.
2. Click on the JEPBN 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment link.
3. Enter your application number and password to log in.
4. The allotted institute and category rank will display on screen.
5. Download the allotment letter and save a printout for reporting.

What Is the Seat Acceptance and Reporting Process?

Allotted candidates must accept the seat online before the deadline. The step requires payment of the notified seat acceptance fee. The fee is paid through the candidate dashboard on the portal.

Physical reporting is required at the allotted nursing institute. Candidates must carry the rank card, allotment letter, and admit card. Category and nursing registration certificates are also mandatory at reporting.

Failure to report within the deadline will cancel the allotted seat. Such candidates lose the Round 1 claim and must reapply later.
