MCC has opened NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 registration on September 15. Candidates can apply at mcc.nic.in till 3 PM on September 19. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 23.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has opened the National Eligibility Entrance Test for Master of Dental Surgery (NEET MDS) 2026 Round 2 counselling registration. Eligible candidates can apply on the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in. The registration window will remain active till 3 PM on September 19.
Round 2 counselling covers 50 percent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. It also includes 100 percent seats in deemed universities and central universities. Seats in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) institutions are also part of this round.
The payment facility will remain open till 6 PM on September 19. Choice filling will run from September 16 to 10 AM on September 20. The seat allotment result will be declared on September 23. Selected candidates must report to their allotted institutes between September 24 and September 30.

NEET MDS 2026 Round 2 Registration Fee
The registration fee differs by category and institute type. MCC has retained the fee structure applied in Round 1.

Candidates must pay the fee through online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, or UPI. The registration fee is non-refundable.
How to Register for NEET MDS 2026 Round 2?
Candidates who wish to participate in Round 2 must follow the process outlined below.
- Visit the official MCC portal at mcc.nic.in.
- Click on the NEET MDS Counselling 2026 Round 2 link on the homepage.
- New candidates must complete fresh registration using NEET MDS roll number and credentials.
- Fill the required personal, academic, and category details.
- Pay the applicable registration fee and security deposit online.
- Fill and lock choices of institutes and courses within the choice filling window.
- Take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference.
Who Should Register for Round 2?
Round 2 is open to fresh candidates who did not join in Round 1. It is also open to those who were not allotted seats earlier. Candidates seeking upgradation from a Round 1 seat can also participate.
Candidates allotted seats in Round 1 must resign before joining Round 2. State counselling for the same round runs from September 18 to September 24.
Round 2 offers seats returned by Round 1 joiners and fresh vacancies. It is often the last big window for deemed university MDS seats. Candidates targeting top dental colleges must act within this schedule.

- Log in at mcc.nic.in and complete registration before 3 PM on September 19.
- Keep NEET MDS scorecard, class 10 and 12 marksheets, BDS degree, and category certificates ready.
- Arrange the registration fee and refundable security deposit online.

- Lock your choices before 10 AM on September 20 to avoid auto-locking.
- Check the seat allotment result on September 23 on the MCC portal.
- Report to the allotted institute between September 24 and September 30.
