Tamil Nadu NEET UG Round 2 Allotment 2026 Released; Check Last Date to Join Allotted College

The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Selection Committee, has released the Tamil Nadu National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result on the official portal at tnmedicalselection.net. The result was published on September 15, 2026, for both the Government Quota (GQ) and Management Quota (MQ) streams.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat can download the provisional allotment order from the same portal between September 15 and September 18, 2026. The last date to report to the allotted college is September 18, 2026, before 5:00 PM. Failure to join by this deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat.

The Round 2 process covers MBBS and BDS admissions across government, self-financing, and minority institutions in Tamil Nadu. Two separate allotment lists have been published for the Government Quota and Management Quota. Candidates must check the list relevant to their applied stream.

How to Download the Round 2 Allotment Order?

Allotted candidates can retrieve the provisional allotment order by following the steps below:

1. Visit the official portal at tnmedicalselection.net.
2. Click on the Round 2 allotment result link for MBBS or BDS.
3. Log in using the application number and password.
4. View the seat allotment status on the dashboard.
5. Download and print the provisional allotment order for reporting.

Documents Required at the Time of Joining

Candidates must carry the original documents along with a set of self-attested photocopies when reporting to the allotted college.

• Provisional allotment order downloaded from the portal.
• NEET UG 2026 admit card and scorecard.
• Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets and certificates.
• Transfer certificate and conduct certificate.
• Nativity, community, and income certificates, where applicable.
• Aadhaar card and recent passport-size photographs.

Action Plan for Candidates

1. Log in to tnmedicalselection.net and check the allotment status.
2. Download the provisional allotment order between September 15 and 18, 2026.
3. Arrange all original certificates and required photocopies.
4. Pay the applicable tuition fee at the allotted college.
5. Report to the allotted college in person by 5:00 PM on September 18, 2026.
