HP NEET MDS Round 2 Counselling 2026 Schedule Released at amruhp.ac.in; Check Choice Filling Dates

The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh has issued a new counselling notice. It covers the Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) Round 2 counselling 2026-27. The schedule is live on the official portal at amruhp.ac.in.

The counselling is for state quota MDS seats in Himachal Pradesh. It targets candidates for the 2026-27 academic session. Round 1 aspirants who missed a seat can also participate.

Fresh choice filling is mandatory for every Round 2 candidate. Preferences locked in Round 1 will not carry over to this round.

How to Fill Choices for HP MDS Round 2 Counselling 2026?

The choice filling window opens on the AMRU portal. Candidates must first review the seat vacancy list. Only then should they lock their preferences.

1. Visit the official portal at amruhp.ac.in.
2. Log in with the registration credentials issued earlier.
3. Check the updated seat vacancy list uploaded on September 14.
4. Add colleges and specialisations in order of preference.
5. Lock the final list before the window closes.

Unlocked choices may be auto-locked when the window shuts. Candidates should take a printout of the locked list for future reference.

Who Can Participate in HP MDS Round 2 Counselling?

Round 2 is open to registered HP MDS counselling candidates. Aspirants who did not get a seat in Round 1 can apply. Round 1 allottees may also join if they seek an upgrade.

All participants must hold a valid NEET MDS 2026 qualifying score. Domicile and category rules from the AMRU prospectus continue to apply.

What Happens After the Provisional Allotment?

The provisional allotment list will appear on September 19. Allotted candidates must then report to the assigned college. Document verification and fee payment follow the reporting stage.

The final admission is confirmed only after all formalities are cleared. Any change in the schedule will be posted on the AMRU website.
