GIBS Bangalore Opens BBA, MBA and PGDM Admission 2027; Check Early Bird Offer

The Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS), Bangalore has opened its 2027 admissions. The application process starts from September 1 and ends on October 31, 2026. The official admission portal is live at admission.gibsbschool.com. The intake covers three flagship programmes at the institute.

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) is a three-year undergraduate course. The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year postgraduate programme. The Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) also runs for two years.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?

Eligibility norms differ between the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

BBA Eligibility

Candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The minimum aggregate required is 60 percent. Reserved category students get a 5 percent relaxation. Applicants from Science, Commerce and Arts streams are all eligible. Students awaiting their 12th results can also apply on a provisional basis.

MBA and PGDM Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university. The minimum aggregate is 50 percent, with a 5 percent relaxation for reserved categories. A valid score from an accepted management entrance exam is required. Accepted exams include CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA, GMAT and Karnataka PGCET. Final year graduation students may also apply.

The institute follows a composite score model to shortlist candidates. Different parameters carry defined weightages in the final decision.

Shortlisted candidates go through an online Statement of Purpose review. The final round is a personal interview conducted online.
