New Delhi: The Centre for Continuing Education of the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies and University’s School of Computer Science have partnered to launch an innovative online Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) program in three specialisations.
As per UPES CCE, the online BCA program is intended to give students the knowledge, practical abilities, and industry-aligned experience they need to succeed in the fast-paced world of technology.
Informing about the program, the officials stated that the field of computer applications is expanding rapidly, and there is an increasing need for qualified individuals who can create, oversee, and maintain software systems and related computer applications.
The Online BCA course offers a wide range of job prospects in a variety of industries, including banking and finance, healthcare, education, consulting, e-commerce, information technology and more.
The online program of UPES Centre for Continuing Education emphasises hands-on learning by giving students real-world exposure in key fields like web design, database management, software development, and programming languages.
Students who pursue a BCA get a solid foundation in computer science ideas and programming languages, which helps them adapt to new technologies, learn new programming languages, and keep up with industry trends.

The New Age Technology specialisation aims to give students the information and abilities they need to succeed in the quick-paced world of developing technology. Modern technologies including AI, ML, IoT and blockchain are the emphasis of this specialisation.
A thorough curriculum is offered through the Cloud & Security specialisation for students who are interested in the domain. This specialisation goes deeply into important subjects including virtualization, network security, and data protection, as well as cloud infrastructure management.
The abilities required to build, deploy, and protect cloud-based solutions are developed by students through hands-on instruction and the usage of tools that are common in the field.
