The School of Management (SOM), IIT Mandi, has begun admissions for its MBA in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence (DS & AI) for the 2026 batch. The School of Management, IIT Mandi, is offering the MBA in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence for the 2026 academic session. Candidates must apply online only through the IIT Mandi admission portal by selecting the Admission Cycle: AUG–DEC 2026, Mode: Regular, and Category: Self-Sponsored. The application fee (non-refundable) is ₹2400 for GN/OBC (NCL)/EWS candidates, ₹1200 for SC/ST/PwD candidates, and ₹1200 for all female candidates.

For foreign nationals, the application fee is USD 100 for SAARC countries and USD 200 for non-SAARC countries. Applicants are advised to carefully verify all details before submission, as the fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

SOM IIT Mandi MBA DS &AI Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Application Category 1 (Candidates with valid CAT 2025 score):

• GN/OBC (CL)/EWS: Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA in a full-time Bachelor’s (3 years) or Master’s degree (2 years).
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD: Minimum 55% marks or 5.5 CGPA.
• Mathematics at +2 level is mandatory.

Application Category 2 (CAT Exempted Candidates):

• Candidates from CFTIs or Top 100 NIRF 2025 institutes.
• GN/OBC (CL)/EWS: Minimum 65% marks or 6.5 CGPA.
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwD: Minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CGPA.
• Mathematics at the +2 level is mandatory.

Final-year students may also apply, subject to eligibility verification at admission.
