RGIPT Bengaluru Campus has started Round 3 admissions for its MBA programmes for 2026. Candidates can submit applications until June 14, while the shortlist will be released on June 16, followed by personal interviews on June 20.

RGIPT Begins MBA Admission 2026 Round 3; Apply by June 14

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) Bengaluru Campus is accepting applications for its MBA and MBA (Business Analytics) programs in Round 3. You can apply online until June 14, 2026, through the official admission portal at portal.rgipt.ac.in/admission. The application fee is INR 1,416 for general candidates and INR 708 for SC/ST/PwD/Girls candidates.

RGIPT offers a 2-year full-time MBA program with a focus on sustainability management and energy sector expertise. The program is designed to develop professionals with skills in energy management, financial management, marketing, human resources, and operations. Shortlisted candidates will be notified on June 16, 2026, and Personal Interviews will be conducted on June 20, 2026. Results will be declared on June 23, 2026, with the fee submission deadline on July 6, 2026. Classes are expected to commence on August 3, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

For MBA: You must have a bachelor's degree from a recognized institute with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Class 10 and 12 minimum 60% marks required (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Valid CAT 2025, XAT 2026, CMAT 2026, GMAT 2025/2026, MAT 2026, or CUET-PG 2025 scores required.

For MBA (Business Analytics): Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or B.Sc./B.Com./BCA/B.A. (Mathematics/Statistics) with minimum 60% marks or 6.0 CPI (55% for SC/ST/PwD). Same entrance exam scores required. Class 10 and 12 minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwD).

Selection Process

Selection is merit-based with the following weightage: Qualifying Exam (65%), Academic Performance (20%), Personal Interview (10%), Work Experience (5%). Total weightage is 100%. Candidates appearing for final year exams can also apply provisionally.

Programs Offered

MBA: 30 seats available. MBA (Business Analytics): 20 seats available. Total 50 seats with reservation for SC (15%), ST (7.5%), OBC-NCL (27%), EWS (10%), and UR (40.5%). RGIPT aims for 20% girl students through merit or supernumerary seats.

Visit portal.rgipt.ac.in/admission and fill the online application form. Upload required documents including Class 10, 12, and graduation mark sheets. Enter your entrance exam scores. Pay the application fee of INR 1,416 online. Submit your application before June 14, 2026.

Fee Structure

Total tuition fee for MBA is approximately INR 6 lakhs. Refundable caution fee is INR 9,000. Other fees total INR 88,000. Exact fee structure can be found in the official brochure.
