Presidency University is accepting applications for its PhD program for the 2024-25 academic session. Eligible candidates can pay the admission fee online between March 11, 2025, and March 19, 2025.

Presidency University PhD Provisional Selection List 2025 Released

Presidency University Kolkata has released the list of provisionally selected and waitlisted candidates for admission to PhD programs for the 2024-25 session (Even Semester). Aspirants must pay the fee by March 19, 2025, for admission. Document verification is scheduled for March 25 & 26, 2025.

Presidency University PhD Documents Required 2025

Candidates must bring one recent passport-size photograph along with original documents and one set of photocopies at the time of reporting.

  • All academic mark sheets and certificates.
  • NET certificate.
  • Caste certificate (if applicable).
  • PWD certificate (if applicable).
  • Blood group certificate issued by a registered diagnostic center.
  • Address proof.
  • Government-issued photo ID.
  • Appointment letter and No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appointing authority (if employed in a project/service).
  • Migration certificate (for students from other universities).
  • Three original affidavits (text available on the university website):
  • Declaration by the student against racism.
  • Declaration by the student on sexual harassment.
  • Declaration by the parent/guardian against sexual harassment.
  • Copy/reference of the anti-ragging declaration after form submission at anti-ragging.
  • Income certificate of parents issued by BDO, SDO, or any Group A government officer, or income certificate/pay slip from the employer or latest ITR.

Failure to complete the admission process as per the given schedule will result in the cancellation of provisional selection. Candidates currently in service must provide a release letter from their employer at the time of reporting if they are pursuing the PhD program as a Junior Research Fellow.
