Odisha’s Centurion University of Technology and Management Opens New School of Law; Check Details Here

New Delhi: The establishment of a School of Law on its campus in Jatni, close to Bhubaneswar, has been officially announced by the Odisha-based Centurion University of Technology & Management (CUTM).

A number of notable dignitaries, including former Supreme Court justices Hon. Justice Mr. MR Shah, Hon. Justice Mr. Dinesh Maheshwari, and Hon'ble Advocate General of Odisha Mr. Ashok Parija, as well as other senior officials, attorneys, and academicians, graced the School of Law's opening ceremony, making it a historic occasion.

The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Supriya Pattanayak, commented on the establishment of the School of Law at CUTM. She stated, "The large event symbolises the unique tradition of Centurion University to address the various expectations of students and society. The School of Law at CUTM will put special emphasis on preparing students for the future by preparing them to handle legal intricacies and have a significant influence on both the national and international levels.

The guests praised the team for their outstanding and energetic moot court hall and appreciated the law school's strong infrastructure. The notion of creating a law school with the objective of dispensing top-notch legal education and practical training was praised by our legal community. 

One of the greatest methods for delivering legal education was mentioned: the law students would receive practical legal training.

The opening of the School of Law comes less than a month after Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the nation's top-ranked central university, and CUTM, the only university in India to be recognised by the Ministry of Skill Development as a Centre of Excellence, signed an MoU for institutional collaboration, enabling sharing of knowledge, experience, and best practises while providing industry-driven, skill-integrated higher and vocational education.
