NLSIU will charge a one-time admission fee of Rs. 13,900 at the time of admission, along with a refundable security deposit of Rs. 18,800 for SC/ST students and Rs. 23,700 for other categories.

The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru, has officially released the undergraduate fee structure for the 2026 academic session. The revised fees apply to students enrolling in BA (Hons.), BA LLB (Hons.), and LLB (Hons.) programmes and include tuition, facilities, housing, and other institutional charges.

As per the notification, the tuition and facilities fee for all three UG programmes has been fixed at Rs. 3,18,200 per academic year. The housing fee varies by programme. For BA (Hons.) and BA LLB (Hons.), the housing fee is Rs. 1,32,800, taking the total annual cost to Rs. 4,51,000. For the LLB (Hons.) programme, the housing fee is higher at Rs. 1,88,200, making the total cost Rs. 5,06,400 per year.

In addition to the annual fees, NLSIU will collect a one-time admission fee of Rs. 13,900 at the time of admission. Students will also be required to pay a refundable security deposit, which has been set at Rs. 18,800 for SC/ST category students and Rs. 23,700 for students from other categories. The security deposit will be refunded upon graduation or withdrawal from the programme, after adjusting applicable charges such as convocation fees, certificate issuance fees, and any pending dues.

The off-campus housing fee includes a comprehensive meal plan, covering breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an evening snack, ensuring residential and dietary support for students during the academic year.

NLSIU has clarified that the fees announced are provisional and are subject to ratification by the University Governing Bodies. Students and parents are advised to regularly check the official NLSIU website for updates related to fee approval, payment schedules, and admission guidelines for the 2026 session.
