National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NIT Rourkela) received the highest number of 1,534 job offers from 330 companies during campus placements for the academic year 2022-23.

New Delhi: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela has set new records in its placement drive for the academic year 2023. The institute has received 1,534 job offers from 330 companies during campus placements for the academic year 2022-23.

According to the officials of NIT Rourkela, more than 95% of the students from the flagship BTech programs were placed. Asper the , 24 students were offered a salary package of more than Rs 50 lakh per annum (LPA). Among these students, 8 students got the highest offer of Rs. 52.89 LPA.

In 2022-2023, the average CTC increased by over 16% to Rs. 12.95 LPA from Rs. 11.15 LPA in 2021-2022. The average BTech CTC is Rs. 14.22 LPA, and Landmark Group extended 3 international offers.

NIT Rourkela announced that the students from B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, and Ceramic Engineering as well as Dual Degree in Mining Engineering and Ceramic Engineering recorded 100% placement. More than 350 students got the internship opportunity and were offered highest stipend at Rs.1.5 lakh per month.
