The Institute Level Test (ILT) will be conducted on May 12, 2026, followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview (GD & PI) from May 13 to May 15, 2026.

NIT Agartala MBA Admission 2026 Open

The NIT Agartala has opened applications for admission to its two-year full-time residential MBA programme offered by the Department of Management, Humanities & Social Sciences (MHSS) for the 2026–27 academic session. Interested candidates can apply online through the official admission portal admission.nita.ac.in. The last date to submit the online application form is April 10, 2026.

Applicants are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of ₹1,000 for General category candidates and ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates through the online portal. After completing the online registration, candidates must also send a hard copy of the application form along with supporting documents to the MHSS Department of NIT Agartala. The last date for receiving the hard copy of the application form is April 21, 2026.

NIT Agartala MBA Admission 2026 Dates

Candidates seeking admission must hold a graduate degree with at least 60% marks for engineering graduates and 55% marks for other disciplines. A relaxation of 5% marks or 0.5 CGPA is applicable for SC/ST candidates. Final-year students are also eligible to apply.

Admission to the programme will be based on a valid score in CAT, CMAT, GMAT, or MAT, or through the Institute Level Test (ILT) conducted by NIT Agartala. Candidates with valid national-level test scores are not required to appear for the ILT.
