New Delhi: NTA has successfully concluded the NEET 2024 exam on May 5, 2024. This year, a total of 24 lakh students appeared for the medical entrance test for admission to various courses like MBBS, BDS, BAMS, etc. NEET UG 2024 Answer key is expected to be out in June 2024.

As per the schedule, NEET UG 2024 Results will be announced on June 14, 2024. Candidates with a valid score in NEET can apply for admission to various government and private colleges in India on the basis of NEET Cutoff marks.

What is NEET UG Qualifying Marks 2024?

The NEET UG 2024 Qualifying marks are the minimum score required for a candidate to be eligible for the NEET counselling process. Qualifying marks do not constitute 50% of the total NEET score; instead, they operate on a percentile-based system.

To simplify, candidates must score higher than the scores of 50% of candidates who appeared in the exam. Qualifying marks typically vary annually, usually ranging between 150 to 200. However, achieving these marks does not guarantee admission to a medical college.

NEET cut-off marks are the lowest scores you need to get into a medical college. They show the minimum percentile you must reach for admission. So, if you score higher than the NEET cut-off marks, you can get into a medical college better.
